You can tell when the draft starts to turn when the analysts stop saying “this is a great player” to “this is a really interesting pick”.

There goes Davis Mills to the Texans at 67.

There’s nothing to be a fan of. He’s a horrible WR prospect. Should’ve been a round 6-7 guy.

I don’t know about that. I’m guessing the run on those last 3 QBs that could potentially be something forced the Texans to grab him since he was the last one and they need to have some kind of Plan B.

It’s a great name. Maybe he becomes a useful gadget player but you don’t pick a guy like that in the 2nd round where there’s an extremely limited ceiling.

Say what you will about Watson, but at least his massage therapists never needed Plan B.

Vikings got a steal getting Wyatt Davis that low at 86. I wanted the Bears to get him. Thought he could have gone 30 spots higher.

Lot of good O-linemen in the division arriving.

Boogie Basham is the best name of the draft so far. It will not be beaten.

Divine Deablo is pretty good too.

Y’all sleeping on Tommy Tremble. Great TE name

Alliteration is key when choosing a name who won’t ever do anything in the nfl. Yet another box Titu can’t check smh

Not the point of your comment, but as an ND fan, always liked Tremble. Solid hands, good player. Should have a nice career.

That said, he was kind of screwed once Michael Mayer enrolled. Mayer is what people pretend Kyle Pitts is today. He’s going to be the best tight end prospect in the history of the draft.

I’m in several dynasty fantasy football leagues. A few with guys like Hank, billy, and Nas on here. I have my eye on Mayer but am wholly dismissing your blasphemous Pitts slander

I think Pitts will be an Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez type. Excellent pass catcher, crazy athletic, matchup nightmare...

I think Mayer will be that plus Gronk/Kittle skills in the blocking game. I don’t think it’s possible to exaggerate how good that kid can be.

Another RT. That’s an interesting pick.

Larry Borom - Missouri - 6’5” / 325

Big dude. That’s all I got.

Sounds like many consider him a Guard.

I was hoping for CB or WR, but at least it is a position of need. You can never have enough at OL.

Guys on ESPN saying Jenkins and Borom are 2 of the toughest OL guys in the draft.

Definitely like the sound of that. Been took long since we had some tough ass whippers on the line.

Big and strong.

Not very athletic.

We will see who he backs up at the guard spot.

This is completely false and it tells me you do no research, don’t watch games, and use nothing more than emotions and dumb talking points to formulate your opinions.

Fields was asked to run the ‘Y’ or ‘Y cross’ (go watch tape of the Nebraska game) which involves reads coming from one side of the field all the way to the other side of the field. He’d get into 4th and 5th reads all the time. Haskins and some of the other QB’s from OSU were never asked to run this type of offense under Meyer and Tressell.

There’s much more I could bring up but I’m not doing the research for you. Go spend hours looking up articles, scouting reports and YouTube breakdown vids yourself.

Look, you can hate the pick -the Bears got the right player imo but they have bad coaches who could still screw him up. But if you’re going to hate the pick and give reasons, don’t just make shit up or repeat tired pseudo analysis that everyone reaches for when they diss a QB. Calling him a ‘1 read guy’ is hilariously stupid and misinformed.

Jbills saw something before a lot of us did.

Again, please provide evidence where the Green Bay Packers were going to draft a wide receiver when they historically haven't done it?

Not sure what history you are talking about. Real history says all of these WRs were 1st or 2nd round picks:

Jordy Nelson
Randall Cobb
Davante Adams
Javon Walker
Sterling Sharpe
Greg Jennings
Robert Ferguson
Derrick Mayes

Wow, that just proves the case (despite you trying to move the goalposts by including 2nd round picks). They haven’t used a 1st round pick on a WR since 2002. Why not include James Lofton??
