7. One of my favorite players to emerge this year is Vikings WR K.J. Osborn. (And not because he was born on my 40th birthday, June 10, 1997.) New coach Kevin O’Connell loves Osborn’s route-running and ability to get deep and O’Connell plans to feature all three of his receiving threats. I could see Osborn getting 100 targets out of O’Connell’s scheme that will feature a majority of three-wide sets.

This says more about Kirk Cousin's mediocrity.

The comment about Mooney was mine, not King's...I should be clear. Mooney is like the leading scorer on the worst NBA team...someone has to be.

I know that wasn't your comment.

Jefferson is clearly the best. I'm not sure what Thielen's body has left in it. I don't think Mooney is the receiving version of Ron Mercer. I think he's a decent #2 being asked to be a #1.

Fair enough. Plus he has the focus of #1 cb's this year. It will be interesting to see how he does.

Agree on Thielen. I think he's basically a red zone wr now.

Simms may be wrong on this one, but he's had some recent hits on his hot takes... nobody is 100% at this

Vikings getting set to make a move after dumping salary. I do like the Vikings 53 man roster better than any other team in the NFC North from top to bottom. But, it would be nice to add another piece.

I really liked Chazz Surratt in college. I think he is a pro in the right system but not an every down LB. Some teams know how to use these players that seem to be coming along who wouldn't be good lining up at one spot permanently

The Vikings cut all three of their 3rd round picks from the 2021 draft. One would think that at least one of them will turn into a decent NFL player. You might be right on Surratt.

Everybody thinks that about their team after training camp. The agonizing over whether they kept the right guys as the 52nd and 53rd players is amusing since we fall in love with them in preseason and never hear from them again.

Yes, probably very true and good point on the last couple players. They usually only matter to special teams if that.

They Vikings just gave up multiple draft picks for Jalen Reagor. I don't think they were happy with their receiving room.

Bisi Johnson got hurt, otherwise he would have made the team. It's a 7th and a 5th, maybe a 4th. I'm not sure on the trade yet, but the Eagles did draft him over Jefferson.

The last position they should be wasting draft picks on is wide receiver. Especially for a shitty player.

We'll have to settle for wild cards because there's only one team that going to take the NFC North and never give it back.

The Vikings cut receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette after acquiring receiver Jalen Reagor in a trade with the Eagles.

That's why they signed Reagor. Marsette told cornerback Booth Jr. that he better sleep with his eyes open among other issues. It's a culture move by Kwesi. Bears should sign him, he'd be their #2 WR.

I imagine Justin Jefferson would be safe if he slapped Kwesi.

Power Rankings are mostly garbage but it seems Vikings are gaining some traction.
