You old enough to remember Marino in his prime? I'm not sure that's quite the consensus take you believe it to be.

Better? No. But Rodgers is close if not as good.

Regarding Bostic, you're picking on one play. I can pick on MANY plays from a game in which Aaron Rodgers, coming off of a SB win and a 15-1 season, was outplayed by Eli Manning at Lambeau Field.

"If"

That literally has nothing to do with my point.

Stay on point here. Why would Rodgers be as good or better than Favre all of a sudden if one completely different guy holds on to a ball one specific time. Because that is exactly what your assertion is.

Yeah I mostly just remember later career Marino but basically everyone I know that's seen both say him and Rodgers are pretty comparable.

But, Frank loves himself a trolling narrative.

You're missing the point, and you conveniently have not answered this question;
Frank Coztansa wrote:

Here is a very simple question that requires only a YES OR NO answer.
Is it disappointing that an all time great QB in Aaron Rodgers has played in just one Super Bowl?

Before the Bostic play that you continue to harp on, 4 of 5 GB drives in the second half were 3 and outs. "If" Rodgers had played better on those drives...or the entire game itself because he had a 54 rating.

The most frustrating part of that is how the ref's quit helping the Packers when they needed it most.

So if Bostic catches that ball it magically transforms how good Rodgers was for his entire career. That's some logic you are using.

Or...maybe "if" Rodgers plays better than a 55 rating, or leads his team to a second half TD, the Bostic play never even happens!

And;

The answer is no Aaron Rodgers career has not been disappointing. It's such a dumb question I didn't think you actually needed it answered. You would kill to have the type of success we've had the past 15 years. So would at least 20 other fanbases.

Taking a page out of LTG's playbook and talking about a bunch of stuff I never asked about. I didn't ask about his career overall, and I certainly didn't mention anything about what I want or what other fanbases want.

I asked if it was disappointing that Rodgers has only played in one Super Bowl. You know the answer is yes, you seem to be afraid to say it though.

Let's try this again, FF. This is a very simple question, the only way to answer it is with a "yes" or a "no"

No, his career (in which he's played in 1 SB) has not been disappointing. Not sure how to make this any more clear. You would sign up for his career for Fields in a fucking heartbeat :lol:

More out of the ltg playbook. Why do you feel the need to add on a bunch of qualifiers?

Leave his overall career out of it. I've said more than once over the last page or so that Rodgers is an all time great, a surefire HOF'er. Fields doing better or worse or the same is irrelevant, and I've also admitted the Bears are trash and have probably only helped Rodgers giving him two wins most seasons.

Not sure how to make this any more clear. With with regards to only the Super Bowl, is it disappointing that Aaron Rodgers has only played in one?

The 90s-00s Braves won 13 (14, 15? whatever) Division Titles in a row. Would us Sox fans kill for that kind of success? Absolutely. Would I be disappointed if the Sox went 1 for 15 in terms of winning it all? Absolutely.

You're asking if it's disappointing that he's been to 1 SB. That's a career question Frank. You are asking me how I feel about his career. Do you not understand the question you keep insisting on asking me?

I saw Marino in his prime. He was fucking amazing. Yeah, I think he was a better quarterback than Rodgers but not by a whole hell of a lot.

Maybe he was. The gap probably isn't very large regardless of who you are arguing is better.

I bet if you would ask most Dolphins fans, they would gush over Marino's career but ultimately say they are disappointed he only played in the big game once.

I've never had any problem indulging your dumb Packers thoughts. It's always fun to firmly be on the top side of a sports rivalry.

Is it disappointing that Rodger's hasn't won 10 consecutive Super Bowls? I say yes, because winning 10 of those in a row would be quite an accomplishment.

This can't help the Green Bay Fucksticks chances of getting out of the NFC this year:

Rodgers said he was “immunized.” ESPN 1000 transition is having fun with this. Did he do all those Jeopardy shows unvaccinated?
