Baldinger seems to think Crosby has a chance for DROY. He did a nice breakdown on his game vs. the Broncos.

They said something similar last season. They were trying to get a team that wanted a QB to trade up with the Jets so they could pick Quinnen Williams. It didn't work sadly.

Caller Bobabooey will be along shortly to make some sort of silly "Good Cocksucker" remark.

I have to admit I got suspicious when he admitted the refs blew it on The Tuck and that it was a fumble after 17 years of claiming it was a good call. I checked around to see if anyone else thought the timing curious and the only other person I found was Rich Eisen. He went thru all the reasons the Raiders made sense on his show. This was back in October or so. I would probably take 2-3 years of Brady over Carr at this point.

that analysis has about as much sophistication with the nuances of a topic as I see with Packer bloggers

Cooper was playing on one leg from mid November on, which accounted for the dip. The guy gutted it out for a team that desperately needed him while griping on to its playoff hopes.

I listen to the drive time show in Dallas quite a bit and the big debate is whether they should offer him a contract but there's a lot of anxiety after what happened the 2nd half of the season. They speculate his poor performance must be due to injury but they can't decide how bad it was especially after Cooper played in the Pro Bowl. Usually if a player has a hang nail they sit out the Pro Bowl especially when its at a place they're going to freeze their nuts off. If the knee was serious it seems like he'd sit out the Pro Bowl as a precautionary measure even if it was healed but he played so it seems the original injury wasn't that severe. Its very strange. Me and Furious have seen the Amari Cooper disappearing act before. Cooper is a different guy and I think the Cowboys are starting to realize that...gonna be interesting to see if they give him the money.

Also I noticed Pro Football Focus rated the Raiders rookie class #13 this season. How anyone takes these morons seriously is a mystery. Whenever these douchebags go on a podcast they don't even sound like football people so I really question where they come from. I wonder if they're mostly people that took one of those online scouting courses but never played organized ball or scouted at any level. These morons had Bosa #1 and Crosby #47 when its very possible Crosby had the better season with less help. You can't read an article anymore without a reference to a rating on PFF.

The Athletic did their beat writer mock draft. Tafur took CJ Henderson at #12. We traded our soft former #1 CB for a 3rd rounder last season and now we're going to draft the softest CB in the draft at #12. Yeah ok. All the receivers were still on the board and Lamb, Jeudy, and Ruggs went in the next 3 picks.

At #19 he traded down with the Broncos...yeah that's gonna happen.

Tafur is a clown...thankfully he's not our GM.

They've been working on the lighting and my brother says it looks amazing. I can't wait to go. Its a long way from watching games at the LA Coliseum and Oakland-Alameda.

When they started construction the union head was asked to compare the project with SoFi. He said we'll come in on time and on budget...they won't. He was right about that...jeez.

There are people who say Ruggs was a bad pick because Gruden can't scheme people deep...here's Galloway in his 34-36 years in Tampa.

2005 1287 yards 15.5 per reception
2006 1087 yards 17.0 per reception
2007 1014 yards 17.8 per reception

The Raiders didn't throw deep in 2018 because Penn, Osemele, and Jackson went down by week 4 and Miller was playing on a sprained knee. Last season we were starting receivers off the street. Carr still threw for 4000+ yards both seasons. I think the Vegas line on Carr right now is 3500 yards which makes no sense because he's not getting benched. He's been productive...too productive to move on from which the dopes in the media don't understand because they always have us drafting a QB in the 1st round.

Arnette was a surprise to the "experts" but it looks like Mayock did his homework as his combine time was slowed by the way he was starting. The timer was starting .12 early. He actually ran in the 4.45 range. Brugler had a tweet about it where someone looked at the video and then he asked other teams what time they had for Arnette...4.43 to 4.47 instead of the 4.56 he was timed.

I'm skeptical of both picks but they are done so the proof will be in the play

I'm curious to see the effect Ruggs will have on Waller. He should see less help over the top. We've never really seen anything like Waller before a guy 6'6" 260 with very good hands that can run that fast. He ran the 8th fastest time for a ball carrier last season on a 75 yard play. He also likes to block...he's been breaking down film of Witten's blocking technique on twitter.

Its pretty amazing how we got him...Greg Olson our OC watched him in pre-game warmups and told Gruden to sign that guy...he was on the Ravens practice squad.
