The Davis interview was good up until the point where he said he sympathized with rioters. I am not sure exactly how to paraphrase it, but he essentially said it was ok to riot to get people’s attention.

I am at the point where both sides are taking things too far. If damaging government buildings and destroying innocent people’s property is fair game, we are going down a road where society will break down.

Was he actually claiming CNN fact checks all it's stories? Did he miss all the false Russiagate stories they reported as fact?

It appears he was saying Fox news and right wing outlets are a bigger source of bad information.

Why is it being just taken as fact that arrestee = good, cop = bad in this (and many other) situations?

Why is nobody putting themselves inside the officer's shoes, a guy who just witnessed what is probably one of the most freakish events one can possibly witness with their own life hanging delicately in the balance - a young cop with an absolutely spotless record coming face-to-face with a person who is basically exhibiting superhuman abilities due to illegal drug consumption such that he is completely unaffected by multiple taser rounds? Then, the same guy disobeys commands that were given for the safety of ALL involved, and then he tries to open a door with who-knows-what type of weapon or danger waiting beyond that door (which suspicion we later find out to be true with a knife being concealed under the floorboard).

Where is the objective fucking reporting on this? Who is going to step up and state that firing one's weapon at someone 7 times to quell a potential threat in a situation like this could actually be justified as a life-saving reflex under these unique circumstances? Does the cop have to wait until being drawn down on to react? What would you tell his family then if that happened and he lost that showdown? When is his pristine past record of public service going to be reviewed to establish the absence of ill intent?

Seriously, I have yet to see ONE. Why are all the news outlets so caught up in fanning the flames to lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy of criminals = good, cops = bad?

When is someone going to get some stones and stand up for THE TRUTH and INSIST upon its proper reporting?
