Dude, we were at a bar yesterday with all the games on, and I could not (for whatever reason) take my eyes off the Cardinals/Jets game. It was such a train wreck and hilarious.
Guys, with Timmy Tebow inactive due to a rib injury, Greg McElroy, the Jets' second year third stringer from Alabama, was pressed into service to guide what turned out to be the winning TD in a 7-6 stinker over an Arizona team whose 4-0 start now appears to be a distant memory.
If Jets' HC Rex Ryan doesn't name McElroy the starting QB Sunday @ Jacksonville, that coach is a bigger buffoon than I thought. As for the Cardinals, I don't know what HC Ken Whisenhunt was thinking when he benched John Skelton 2 weeks ago in Atlanta in favor of third-stringer Ryan Lindley, who was just as clueless yesterday. If Lindley doesn't start another game for Arizona, fine by me!
