Great, another kiss of death. Can we get a sound byte from Mike Greenberg to ensure failure?

Here’s an odd stat...
Nick Mullens is on the verge of doing something only one other quarterback has done in NFL history: eclipse 4,500 passing yards in his first 16 starts.

Going into Week 14 against Washington, Mullens has 14 starts under his belt. In those 14 games he’s racked up 3,926 passing yards. That alone would be good for 21st all-time through 16 starts, but Mullens has two more to go.

Patrick Mahomes is the all-time leader in passing yards through 16 starts with 5,100. That’s not an attainable number for the 49ers’ signal caller. Second place currently belongs to Andrew Luck who posted 4,374 yards in his first 16 starts. That’s a number Mullens can, and should pass. En route to that he would eclipse the likes of Dan Marino, Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson.

Ridiculous. Season ain't over, homes.

Big game this weekend. Getting 3 starters back. Week 17 game moved to Saturday national audience.

Contender.

Through 13 weeks of the NFL season, just 12 teams remain with a realistic shot at winning Super Bowl LV. This week, the Saints overtook the Chiefs as favorites to win the Super Bowl, according to FiveThirtyEight, with several other contenders still hoping for a shot at the title.

I’m not even a hater on the Saints, just like talking shit on this board, but isn’t this example #1,000,000 why the nerds can’t be trusted. The chiefs are the clear deserved front runner to win the SB and it’s a little silly to insult folks intelligence pretending otherwise imo

Kyle Shanahan is good. Only the truly dumb don’t think he’s a great coach at this point.

Yep surprisingly you're right for once. The Saints aren't contenders with a TE under center and then noodle arm if he comes back.

For once? I had GB as the division winner and a contender this year. You had neither. I think I’ve won.

And I bet you picked the Patriots to beat Miami, Buffalo and NYJ when Brady was around.

Are you saying it was obvious GB was gonna win the division? Where was that commentary 3 months ago?

I don't think I made any predictions. Why would I? The NFC north is like the AFC east for Brady. It's going to be GB and then everyone else for like 4 out of every 5 years.

I’m too lazy to pull quotes right now. Maybe tomorrow when I’m bored at work I will. Suffice to say you weren’t singing this tune in August and September

Well that's because you were arguing that the season would never get off the ground due to COVID and I said you're an idiot and the NFL will power through regardless.

Diggs and the Bills are merciless right now. But they look like they stole the Patriots alt uniforms.

After seeing the Saints fall right into the trap like always, I’ve seen enough of the Stormin Mormon. I hope Jameis has learned the offense by now because Hill shouldn’t start another game. But he will because Payton is a stubborn ass.

Their road to success has been altered by Covid more than any team in the league. The last few weeks have been brutal for them, playing Wednesday then Monday then Sunday. Three short weeks in a row against good competition will ware down any team.
