He could be back in a couple of weeks with a brace.

Sprains are always more painful than snaps of a tendon. He was in a lot of pain so counterintuitively, that's a good sign.

Rodgers played with it and had brace, limited mobility. We will see, no reason to panic at all.

With a guy approaching middle age, I’d be cautious. Recovery at his advanced age is more about living day to day and less about regaining his prior athleticism.

Making sure he's able to attend his child's graduation without limping should be the Packers focus.

The team played that way last night, the Bears still haven’t bested the Packers since 2018, so we will see.

The Pack still has problems on defense.

I don’t know that, 1 game doesn’t make a season. The penalties were killers last night, kicking 2 field goals early and not converting touchdowns and then another missed field goal. Sloppy all the way around.

The Pack definitely has a Jaire Alexander problem, among other issues on defense. He's slowing down and hasn't been all that good for a while.

Some context on Alexander:

Lombardi Ave wrote:
According to Next Gen Stats, Alexander shadowed Brown on 73.9 percent of his routes. The result? Brown caught four passes for 108 yards against Alexander, including a 67-yard touchdown early in the third quarter.
...........
Alexander hasn't consistently posted All-Pro numbers in coverage for a while. According to Pro Football Reference, in 2023, quarterbacks completed 22 of 33 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in Alexander's coverage, earning a 113.4 passer rating.

Go Pack!

To quote Farve Fan: Did you even watch the game, bro?

Just about any secondary player in the league could've made that play. It was a really bad and dumb throw by Hurts.

But I'm glad that you continue to be defiantly ensconced in the alternative reality known as Packerland.*

Go Pack!

Things are looking rather bleak for the LAST PLACE Packers.

I hear they are combing the local high school talent to find a replacement for Love next week. Mark Chmura is reportedly doing the scouting.

Still a lot of talk from such a perennial losing organization, especially after 1 game.

MCL strain is a common injury. I would think there would be a more definite estimation of the timeline by now.

I draft a Packer WR and THIS happens. Reed does seem like a guy that will get numbers irrespective of the QB

or I'm just whistling by the graveyard because I NEED him to get numbers

Love needs to come back so the Packers don't get the #1 pick in the draft and get a QB and trade Love to the Jets.

You were puffing your chest out last Thursday/Friday but have tucked and run ever since you are now looking at an 0-5 start.

I have been here the whole time and they will not go 0-4, again lots of excitement after Week 1.
