I can see the draw of featuring the Rams considering the move back to LA. Typical of LA the show looks overproduced this year. It also features shitty, romantic comedy type music. Deon Long might be the least intelligent person walking the face of this earth. The coach tells him he only has two rules. He is a fringe player getting a shot at making life altering amounts of money. He breaks one of the rules on the first day of camp. Watch porn, you dipshit. |

Goff not knowing that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west may be a whole new level of stupid. |

I missed it. Looked the other day to put it on the DVR but obviously slipped past me. I think I looked on Monday and forgot it was on Tuesdays. I'll check it out, could have some interesting story lines plus they are a "new" franchise. Thanks for the reminder to watch. Guess that says something about how most people feel about this show now. Unless it is your favorite team featured, there is less and less reason to tune in. |

Yeah, I thought the opening was pretty cheesy and looked like something from a reality show aimed at women as opposed to a show about NFL training camp. I know it was just the first episode and this may change after two or three episodes, but there weren't any compelling people or stories that have me excited about tuning in next week. Jared Goff seems like he's going to struggle. Singletary is on their coaching staff. |

It makes me sad to see Aaron Donald on the Rams. I had that guy scouted out early on for the Bears. It looked early in the draft like he would be a second round pick and I thought it was a steal. Then he just kept climbing and I would have been happy to have had him in the first. Then the Rams took him before the Bears. He was the perfect fit at a need position. The Rams picking him felt like when the Heat jumped the Bulls for Dwayne Wade on draft day |

"I'm not f---ing going 7-9 or 8-8 or 9-7 ... we have too much talent here for that," he said on "Hard Knocks." "We had some 7-9 bulls--- this morning and we can't have that. Deon is gone. That is 7-9 bulls--- and we don't need it." So we are going to go 4 and 12 instead! At least they are probably going back from those horrible gold jerseys to the classic royal blue and yellow right? |

It didn't look like it. They still have the dark blue with dampened gold horns in practice. I'm sure they will wear the blue and gold half the time just so they have another product to market. |

Since McNair got shot, Jeff Fisher has been the poster boy for 7, 8, and 9 win teams. |

Frank Coztansa wrote: Since McNair got shot, Jeff Fisher has been the poster boy for 7, 8, and 9 win teams. That's what I was thinking as he said that. They are so talented...on defense. On offense, they will either be starting a rookie or placeholder at QB. Their WR corps is a mish mash of unrealized talent. Their offensive line is suspect. They do have a very good RB. That is the makings of a .500 team |

I have no clue why he set the bar at something above 10-6. Plus he extolled his own virtues in front of the team a couple of times by saying, "I know what I am doing." |

THE PEOPLE THAT ARE PLAYING NOW HAVE BEEN SUBTERFUGED TO BE SOFT!! http://foxsportsradio.iheart.com/onair/fox-sports-daybreak-46874/hard-knocks-premiere-episode-was-horrible-14998716/ Jared Goff is the easiest to see bust in the history of the NFL. The guy has never taken a snap in his life. He has the brains of rice pudding. The fact that he got a 36 on the Wonderlic and he doesn't know where the sun rises tells you everything you need to know about that test. |

He couldn't take a snap from under center, wow. I was floored. I learned that at 10 years old, my first year of tackle. It's pretty easy. And not knowing where the sun rises? But the other guy said "in air". So maybe all players are that dumb. How about Chris Weinke trying to be a hard a$$? |

I love the subtext of this show which is basically that the Rams are the Beverly Hillbillies adjusting to big city livin. |

Paraphrasing, he said not everyone has the temperament to be a starting first round draft pick. He failed as a first rounder in both football AND baseball |

Last night's episode was OK. Things should get more interesting now that they're getting into preseason games and roster cuts. The guy who was excited about the team moving to L.A. because he'll have a better chance at seeing a mermaid but doesn't believe in dinosaurs is a real piece of work. Suddenly, Goff doesn't seem as dim as he did in the first episode. |

That's a hilarious quote. Jeff Fisher has gone 7-9 or 8-8 or 9-7 for the last 20 straight seasons. Who the fuck is he crappin? Edit: what Frank and dolphin said. |

I think I understand what happened to Kenny Britt in Tennessee after this show. He acted like a dumb fuck when the coach called him out for rolling the buggy. Mentality of a 15yr old. Hard to take these coaches seriously, when they are wearing flip flops. I'm really mad! We need to play better! Hey, do you like my flip flops? |

Did anyone watch last night's episode? It was dull. The last two seasons with the Falcons and Texans were more interesting than this season with the Rams. |

Over/Under on the Rams season is 7.5. -200 for the under, +160 for the over. double up on the under. Brutal schedule. |

Doc is right. After watching this season, it's clear, Goff is gonna be a bust. Not all football players need to be smart. But the QB has to at least have above average intelligence in my opinion. Goff is a complete dumb ass. |

He's getting killed back there because he can't pick things up in his drop. Damn, I wish they'd cut McRoberts. I want him...on the Bears. Williams' hair has some weird mini-Guy Fieri quarter-inch highlight going on. It's bizarre. |

And I can see it in the coaches eyes. That they kind of know they fucked up with this pick. Like when Goff called a play and had no idea what the play was. Then the OC came over to him and said "I should have been in the huddle with you for that call". But the look on his eyes was "Uh oh, what did we do?" Same with another coach who was talking to Goff in the meeting room. They know they're dealing with an idiot and a bust. |
