For a 2018 second rounder. Maybe more, not sure |

Looks like just the pick. Solid deal for the 49er. Pats must not think he's good enough to lead them to a title post-Brady or if Brady goes down this year. |

Brady said he's playing until 45. Jimmy is a FA after the season. Pats did well. Makes the Bears BS for Mitchell look worse, though. |

He's not playing til he's 45. |

Pats won. That's always true. I can't think of a terrible deal they've made. |

Belichik really likes early 2nd round picks. |

Nas wrote: Pats won. That's always true. I can't think of a terrible deal they've made. Actually lost on this one. He was a 2nd round pick. Had him for 4 years, got nothing out of him on the field, and now got another pick for him. So, basically, they deferred their 2nd round pick for 4 years. Could have used it on someone who could actually help them on the field. |

Who will be the backup for Brady now? They better hope he stays healthy |

The Broncos didn't want to match/beat this offer? Morons |

Even if the Broncos matched or slightly beat the Niners offer, don't think the Pats would want Jimmy G in the AFC. Better to bury him in a rebuilding NFC franchise. Kirk Cousins needs to find a new next team now. |

Either way, Broncos season is pretty much over now |

Maybe the Bears can trade Glennnon to the Pats for a conditional 5th. |

Niners giving up a 2nd for an 7 week rental, somebody is going to give JG a fat contract after that. |

Had they drafted a good WR or a good DL instead, they may have won multiple SBs. Instead they drafted him, never used him, and got the same pick back 4 years later. Meanwhile, Brady is 4 years older. |

Not having to use your backup qb is a good thing, somebody is going to give him 5 years 90 million. They were going to let him walk in 2 months. |
