As a side note, the conferences are as lopsided as I can remember them ever being. The NFC is absolutely loaded.

Agreed. I can't remember the last time the NFC was this much better than the AFC overall.

You should’ve taken the Falcons when they were +140 money line against the Eagles. They’ll be 1-0 after tonight and go on to win the division. NFC is tough but Atlanta is my pick to make it out and win the Super Bowl in their city.

Could happen but I just don't trust Steve Sarkisian.

I predict lots of complaining about kneeling and the stripey men in charge of the game.

When you get my age 20+ years ago seems like forever. Just a little exaggeration.

Lots of heart over head picks for me:

Patriots
Bengals
Texans
Chiefs

Steelers
Titans

Eagles
Packers
Saints
Rams

Panthers
Cardinals

Eagles over Steelers.

Also I'm a bit confused as to how Nas thinks the voters would ever give Wilson the MVP if the Seahawks miss the playoffs. Edit: Oh whoops, just realized it was FF.

Hmm... good point. I guess he's gonna be really damn good!

Fake news! I've only recently decided to agree that Wilson is slightly better than Kaepernick.

I had Wilson over Kaepernick years ago. I was the only CFMB member to pick the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Outside of my Bears thoughts most of my other football opinions haven't sucked.

Which Super Bowl...I was all in on them beating Denver because of my Payton Manning hatred...

Definitely Peyton. I would never bet against Brady. I doubt BF deleted those threads.

I remember watching that game with Darko at my house...that first snap fumble, I was laughing my ass off...luckily our friends from Denver had stopped by briefly, but wanted to get home to see the game...

I like the Cardinals to cover their 5.5 win over/under and maybe snag a wildcard. But their schedule is brutal. Betting on both Roethlisberger and Rodgers going down with injuries during the season. Cousins will be a bust in Minnesota.

Patriots
Bengals
Titans
Chargers

Jaguars
Chiefs

Eagles
Bears
Saints
Rams

Panthers
Cardinals

Bears over Bengals.

Totally get it. Hopefully they’re better in the redzone. Threw $250 on them back in July. Before Colin Cowherd jumped on the train.

Post subject:  Re: NFL Predictions

I genuinely think the Bears have a front 7 on the level of the 2015 Broncos. The defensive backfield is different, Bears are much weaker at corner than that Denver team but Eddie Jackson/Adrian Amos is a finer safety duo than TJ Ward and the other guy whose name I forgot. But position-by-position the Bears are right there with that Broncos team in terms of quality. Bears are younger and perhaps have more potential (both for success and for failure) than their Denver counterparts but they are right there. Mack = Miller, Hicks = Jackson, Trevathan =....well Trevathan.

Tell me Leonard Floyd and Roquan Smith dont have the ability to do exactly what Ware and Marshall did for that team. I'm not saying Floyd is going to have the career of DeMarcus Ware (though it is possible when he likely isn't going to face a single double team for the next 4 years), but he definitely has it in him to be as good as Broncos-stage-in-his-career DeMarcus Ware. Bears dont really have a Derek Wolfe opposite Hicks, but they also have a better NT than Denver did.

Point is: the front 7 if it stays healthy is title worthy. Get that group into the playoffs and there is no limit on what the Bears can accomplish. There isn't an offensive line in football that can stop that pass rush. If (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky gets them just a few long 3rd downs a game, keep opponents from stacking the box and limit the turnovers that will be all they need from the passing game.

I cant pick anyone else to win it all.

Bears over Patriots.
