They are keeping the QBs relatively healthy but this is an embarrassment to those of us that love football. |

If I were a Packers fan I would be pissed at the calls specifically but it ultimately is good for them. more than any other team. The calls in the Arizona game were both good. |

i like the roughing the passer calls this year. Clay Matthews has been getting away with murder for years. Finally they're calling it on him with his dirty hits. |

Bears have gotten after the QB more than any other team in the league and have not committed a single one of these penalties. At least I think, sometimes I go blind with rage and forget stuff. -arm tackle -go low -aim for the ball Do that and the refs keep the flag in their pocket. |

The call last week vs the Vikings was bad, for sure. But today's call was spot on. You can't drive the head into the ground. That was correct. I don't see the issue. |

It was textbook form. It's not realistic to expect a defender to levitate into the air after running into a QB for a sack. |

You are a little mad now and can't objectively evaluate it. I am a third party observer in this instance and have no bias. |

The calls against shitbag Matthews the last 2 weeks were awful. Can't wait til the XFL allows real football again. |

Guys just have to relearn their technique. Gayboi Clay probably doesn't think the league is going soft when they coddle Rodgers. |

Roughing calls aren't plaguing the elites like Mack or Von Miller are they? FavreFan is crying because a roided up has been on his team can't figure out how to tackle in this modern day NFL. |

I agree with you that his injury is way worse than the Packers are letting on. The irony of it all is that Rodgers was seriously injured in the first half of the first game of the season the rule he directly influenced was enacted |

The studs are still studs and the pass rush is still capable of taking over games. |

Perhaps RoidiLocks has rubbed many across the league the wrong way over his career. There hasn't been much chatter about these awful calls around the NFL, outside of Pecker/Clay-Gay land. So I really don't see the issue. |

No it's because MANY QBs were hurt in the last few years and it's been hurting the watchability of the league when you have guys like TJ Yates starting playoff games. |

Maybe they can have Clay watch a tape of Mack/Miller running roushoud in 2018 without getting flagged. Seriously, this is a Pecker only issue not an NFL issue. Nobody fucking cares. |

The new rule put into place this year was specifically due to the Rodgers injury of last year. The Clay hit on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was roughing. The Clay hit on Cousins was not a penalty. In fact, that is a video that should be used to teach kids how to tackle- he didn't lead or hit with his head, he didn't hit low, it was a good wrap up and a clean take down. If that hit is going to be used as showing what IS a penalty than the NFL as we know it ceases to exist. |

It's sad to see 2nd place fans whining about a rule that was created to protect their injury prone quarterback. |

He wisely figured that going for the strip makes far more sense than pedestrian sacks from both a football and wallet perspective. |

I think it's almost inevitable that having 2 hands on a quarterback or a push with one will have to be called a sack. |
