I got Leonard 1, Derwin 2, and Ward 3 for DROY. I don't think Ward is anywhere near the DPOY conversation currently. Patrick Mahomes is the clear cut OPOY and MVP with no real close second. I imagine that will eventually change but it's just how it is right now. I would say Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara is currently a distant second for OPOY. |

Ultimately I think KC fades a little (still wins the AFC west) while Carolina comes on really hard and Newton takes MVP. He looks great this year. |

The MVP race is effectively over unless Mahomes gets injured or completely falls apart. The superlatives being hurled around to describe what was honestly a pretty pedestrian performance just give away the fact that the league and the football media both want a new star QB joining the likes of Brady, Brees and Rodgers and they will force "Showtime" (kill this nickname please) on us whether he deserves it or not. |

DeMarcus Lawrence is comfortably ahead of Eddie Jackson in the DPOY race right now. I might not know much but I do know that much. |
