Chirst, this guy needs to retire tomorrow. Or the Giants need to cut him. He can't move so he gets sacked a lot. And he's not accurate. |

He has the highest completion percentage and qb rating of his career!!! This is of course on a hundred 2 yd passes to Barkley. |

Urlacher's missing neck wrote: He has the highest completion percentage and qb rating of his career!!! This is of course on a hundred 2 yd passes to Barkley. Right. It's all dump offs to backs, quick slants or bubble screens for 2 or 3 yards. Barkley sometimes breaks tackles for big gains on screens. His line sucks but in this NFL most QBs can move to avoid the rush and make big plays. He can't do it. He's a god damn statue in the pocket. A sitting duck. |

I'm betting against the Giants the rest of the year. But the problem is Vegas knows this too and the Giants are gonna be double digit dogs a lot for the rest of the year. So I'll just judge the opponent. Seriously though, Eli is gonna get hurt. He shouldn't be on an NFL field. If his name wasn't Eli Manning no team would have him. The Giants feel loyal to him for his 2 Super Bowl wins. But they need to sit him down and tell him to retire if they care about him. Peyton should talk to him as well. |

I thought the Giants were stupid for not drafting one of the QB with their top picks but it looks like they will be in that position again in the next draft |

definitely getting ugly for the giants - i still think they did good drafting Barkely and by the looks of things will be in line for another very high draft choice next draft. Manning is under siege back there in the pocket, and he does himself no favors being a statue. signing OBJ long-term was a bad idea, this guy will never be able to handle himself during the long-term rebuild this team needs. Last night was a disgrace all around except for Barkely. He is fucking awesome. |

Where is it written that you can't bench a guy just because he won a Super Bowl 7 years ago? I'm also looking at you, Joe Flacco. |

The conventional wisdom on NFL Twitter is that the Giants screwed up by taking a running back so early in the draft. And while I think Eli has been awful this year, I also think the armchair GMs are a bit too hasty about trying to pin all the problems on the draft pick alone. I'm not sure any rookie does much better at the moment for them, and I think it's perfectly fair to rate Barkley as a generational sure thing at running back compared to the upsides of this year's draft class. The main thing to criticize about their QB decision making is going into the season with Alex Tanney and Kyle Lauletta as their only other options, but that situation could have still been avoided without committing to one of the first round guys in this year's draft. |

Saquon Barkley is a bigger Barry Sanders. That was the right pick. The wrong move was bringing Eli back. Lauletta is an interesting prospect. He should start at QB the rest of the year to see what he's got. |

the right move is to continue with Eli and this terrible team and get another top-3 pick. what i do like is that they do have a couple young o-lineman that are getting to play with flowers out of the way. they look terrible right now but they have no other choice than just keep plowing ahead and do what you can to win each game. |

The ol' week 5 mock draft has the Giants taking some guy named Daniel Jones with their 1st round pick. QB out of Duke who was completely off my radar. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2019-nfl-mock-draft-giants-take-a-sleeper-as-first-qb-off-the-board-replace-eli-manning/ |

I like what I've seen from Herbert, and I'm not 100% sold on Lock. Finley is a name that keeps getting tossed around as well. This QB draft def lacks a big name. Mainly because the best QB in college football is a sophomore playing for Alabama. |

Try and say it Hebert. Take a shot. All right. |

Avoid PacNW QB's in the draft. Tho Oregon isn't as bad as Washington in terms of generating overhyped QB's who go bust. For being up there with Texas and California in terms of turning out college football players who make the NFL, Florida has had a lot of QB busts and only has Winston and Bortles currently on NFL rosters. North Carolina college QB's well-represented on current NFL rosters. Drew Lock's from University of Missouri? Get you some of dat Chase Daniel and Blaine Gabbert mojo. An of-the-moment snapshot view, but states with most QB's on current 2018 NFL 53 man rosters based on college: California 13 Michigan 7 Texas 7 North Carolina 5 (6 if you include Wilson) Oklahoma 5 |

Grier's a red-shirt Senior who spent a season sitting out due to a PED suspension. He'll be 24 by the time the NFL draft happens in Nashville in April. Plus he's throwing to an experienced wide-receiving crew: Sills and Jennings are both Seniors/both projected to be drafted + a couple of juniors. Grier and his receivers should be putting up the gaudy numbers they've had so far this season against college level talent. |

Why is he even playing? His whole family is incredibly wealthy, and he doesn't seem like the competitive type. Retire and go smoke weed on a huge ranch or something. |
