Outside of local allegiance and/or gambling. Why would anyone root for the Patriots? It's like rooting for Drago to beat Rocky. |

Quite a bit of money on them today and a few hundred on them winning the Super Bowl from a few weeks back. I enjoy watching Brady do that thing he does on final drives in 4th quarter/OT. |

Brady has reached a level / age of excellence that it's just fun to say you saw it. |

Behind them 1488% |

It's like rooting for the Empire in Star Wars, the Nazis in Indiana Jones, the Cowboys in The Little Giants! It's downright un-American to root for the Patriots. |

Some variety would be nice in both leagues. |

Some variety would be nice in both leagues. The NBA's got nothing on a guy who's been going to the Super Bowl almost every year for 17 years. I made that joke about "the best of the '80s, '90s, and today" a couple weeks ago, but damn, Brady is yet another reminder that we're at the End of History. |

Slightly above average. When you watch him late in games you always expect for him to make the plays to win. He rarely disappoints. |

He's 40 fucking years old and can't run. WTF? |
