GB continuing to sign away bears players... what world are we living in?

Disappointing that he could not be brought back, but still time to replace him.

This will not work out well for the Packers. Ha-Ha will be ha-haing at them by the middle of the season

Amos was a 5th round pick and the Bears will get either a 3rd or 4th round compensatory pick next year for Green Bay overpaying him.

Box safety that won't make mistakes but really isn't going to make a play either. Most likely an overpay.

We still got the playmaker, EddieJack.

I think he actually does make quite a few mistakes. He frequently whiffs on tackles.

He is a safety that is solid when surrounded with greatness. That is his ceiling, good by association. When he is not supported with greatness he is the type of player from which you are always looking to upgrade.

Congratulations on the two overpays, Pack! Aren't you glad you finally entered into free agency?

I honestly believe he will make whoever is opposite him a better player.

It shouldn't be difficult to find a SS at a reasonable price.

Neither was as an overpay and yes I am quite happy with the news of this morning. GB got 3 difference makers.

As am I.

Good luck with your difference makers.

He is. He was one of the best safeties left on the market and they got him for little more than the Bears paid for one of the worst CBs on the market. And dolphin thinks GB messed up

Which one of his three career interceptions (none of which occurred before Jackson) made the biggest difference.

I know I am going to miss that one sack he gets every three years.

4 years for 37 million. 21 million the first two years. Yea, GB can have him for that price.

I hope your Pro Football Focus rankings will comfort you as Amos whiffs on another tackle next year.

Wasn't Ha Ha also well regarded by that group?

You are paying Amos(strong/box safety) top 10 level salary. Stop trying to polish this turd FF.

He's playing the long con. He knows this contract only increases the number the Bears will have to give to Jackson causing cap problems for the Bears, just like they did when we re signed Pro Bowl CB Kyle Fuller

He was ranked 2nd out of all Safeties in the NFL at the time of the trade and I believe finished 15th overall in their rankings. Amos was 8th. Notice how I didn't reference them though, their grades are meaningless clickbait.

I watched enough Bears to know Amos is a good football player. I get it though, you need to make yourself feel better about losing him to GB.

Did you see the contract Landon Collins got? That deal is very reasonable.

I wonder why Fangio didn't throw that amount of money at Amos.

My guess is because he's not a GM of an NFL team.

Denver already gave Kareem Jackson a nice contract and massively overpaid for a shitty OT, not sure how many more moves they could make.

Mic Drop by Adam Hog

The Packers are the Bears of 3-4 years ago, overpaying in Free Agency to prop up a shitty team with years of shitty drafting.

Did you watch enough Bears football to see him repeatedly take the wrong angle to the ball last year and in previous years?

some people say he was the weakest link on the Bears defense.

Hoge is clearly scared of GB now. Seems MANY here are as well.
