Same rules as the NBA. You have to have watched them play or don’t nominate them. Let me think about my top 5 but let this clip kick us off. I forgot how good Troy was even while remembering he was great.

That’s some great work.

I like that list. Like me I don’t think you ever doubted Troy but tell me that clip isn’t crazy.

It’s possible someone can think that and still consider them underrated.

I’d like to nominate Sterling Sharpe as the best WR of all time and top 5 underrated.

Can you be under rated if you are in the HOF?

Bill Walsh said Fouts was more talented than Montana. Take it from his mouth.

Where would the NFL be without Air Coryell and Fouts?

Polalamu was awesome. At the end though I used the same jokes the score guys did when making fun of Singletary and his eyes and shuffling his feet and getting ready for the play and then just watching it go right by him.

When was Troy Polamalu ever under rated?

All any announcer ever did was suck his balls dry every damn broadcast.

I too am a Fouts guy no matter how much of a joke it is here. I am a Stabler guy as well. Just won. If you watched as AFC football as the second game on cold Sundays as I did as a youth you saw a lot of underrated on those teams. Raiders and although NFC Rams were full of them. ester Hayes, Mike Haynes, Youngblood you can't pick just 5.

Troy Polamalu was voted to the pro-bowl 8 times, 4 times to NFL first team, twice to NFL second team He won DPOY in 2010 and made the NFL's 2000s All-Decade team, oh and will be a 1st ballot HOFer. So I would like to know who and on what planet and underrated him?

The only reason why Fouts didn't win a Superbowl is because he had to play in the AFC Championship Freezer-Bowl against Cincinatti in '81 in minus 9 Fahrenheit temps. The wind chill was -37 degrees, the coldest ever for an NFL game.

The '80 AFC Championship Game he played in against the Raiders was one of the greatest games ever played. Plunkett got lucky with the deflection pass that went for a TD.
