good thing we used our bad guy card on a fringe player like ray mcdonald.... a fresh kareem hunt game 7 wouldnt have been a perfect fit for our offense... all for the whopping total of $1M... but the optics tho

I do think the Bears would have made a move, I think they were waiting for the ruling. The 'Stains jump the shark on everybody, hey, he's a FA again after the 2019 season.

So he sits for half the season (or less depending on appeal) and you have a #1 running back for the last half of the season for pennies on the dollar. Then again, you don't want to take playing time away from Mike
Davis.
