The NFL regular season and playoffs are almost perfect (the Thursday games sometime suck). Why mess with a good thing? |

You will get the Popovich problem. I paid 1,000 for a ticket to see Brady play against the Cardinals and they sat him. |

Horrible idea. So if you need to win a game and have your star players maxed out at 16 then they could not play in a "playoff" type game? GTFO with this greedy ass bullshit. What about Kickers and Punters? You need to have 2 sets of each? Instead of one double doinker. The Bears could actually have the Double Doinkers |

It's about as great of an idea of making the MLB All star game determine playoff home field advantage. wait....no...this is even worse. |

That's insane. 19 weeks, 17 games. 8 home, 8 away, and one neutral site game. Give each team the extra bye before their Thursday night game - weeks 3-16, plus the other two Thanksgiving games. |

It’s hilarious Goodell has to put something out there to justify his ridiculous salary. Even if it's Trestman-esque. |

I'm aging out and more of a college football fan that increasingly dislikes the NFL. But, get rid of two exhibition games and I begrudgingly like it. Especially if it means expanding the rosters. |

Can't wait for the owners to make the argument that none of the increased revenue from the extra games should go to the players because they're technically playing the same amount as they were before. |

Roger Goodell is turning this league into a laughingstock. First the we dont know what a catch thing is and then the leading with the helmet thing that was ultimately largely abandoned by the end of the year, now after a disgraceful missed PI call in the playoffs (and there is no excuse in the world for that shit, none, its indefensible) they're gonna open PI up to review which is going to turn into a total shit show. this dude over reacts to everything. I got a very bad feeling about the new review rules. I'm not ready for a 5 hour NFL game. And yeah your players are suffering from a culmination of sub concussive hits, let's add games. Oh wait sure theres a personal limit of 16 brilliant so every position needs to have a backup for a backup then. This is so stupid. |

So the teams only have to pay minimum salaries to practice squad level players to make it up. |

This thing is doa right? How the hell are they going to get the players to agree to an 18 game schedule? Most leagues need to reduce games. NFL is the only one that has it perfect right now. |

The players are not going to make more money playing in the same amount of games. Fringe players will obviously benefit though. This was floated out there for a reason. They aren't doing this next season but 2021 isn't that far away. |
