have the worst team in the league, maybe in league history, and Kalen Ballage has to be the worst player in the NFL currently.

How pissed would you be if you were a Dolphin season tix holder. They began tanking almost as soon as the ticket checks were deposited, you can't sell/give away the tickets and if you go you're watching atrocious "football" in a sauna.

And the front office can't seem to do anything right other than collect the sweet tv money.

Most years that's not so different from the bears other than weather. They may not have been tanking but they sucked.

Frankly, as much as I enjoy the games and atmosphere of college & HS games, I despise going to pro games. There are always better options imho.

Bold prediction: the Dolphins wont finish with the worst record.

I said it earlier, didn't get much traction, but I'll say it again because I hate the 1972 Dolphins.

I hope the 2017 Cleveland Browns show up with Champagne bottles on game 16.

This reminds me of the scene in The Departed where someone’s insisting Leo isn’t a cop and Jack Nicholson says “The cops are saying he was a cop!”

Or as bernstein would say, THEY TOLD YOU WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO

The Dolphins ceiling is 2-14 and it’s likely they go winless.

I think they'll catch a few teams out at home. In this day and age players and coaches know exactly what is being said about them in the media and they're going to develop an edge (if they dont already have one). You look at the 2017 Browns and its absolutely incredible that they went winless. They lost games in the most excruciating and random ways imaginable. Every coinflip situation went against them. You could redo those sixteen games a million times and you'd never get the winless result again.

Miami will find guys who can play. There is opportunity there and the hungriest players will sense that and go for it. It may take a few more weeks but they will find themselves a professional team and then they'll beat some teams who dont take the heat/humidity seriously.

Getting 21 points against the Cowboys this week. Yikes.

Got damn. I stupidly took them as part of a teaser last week and said I'd never bet them again. I think the line closes higher than 21.

The Patriots are better than anyone at delivering an unrelenting ass-whooping. 21 points in an NFL game is outlandish, dumb money magnet.

Fins'll go 3-13 for dumb AFC East-related reasons and because at least one team a year goes into Miami with their heads up their asses and loses. Even in the post-parity NFL it's really hard to lose all 16.

It’s easy if you try

There’s no other obvious candidate to lose less than 3 games though so maybe they have a clear path to #1 after week 10 and squeak out a win in the last 6.

Did I miss a memo? The NFL is post parity now? I think that only applies to NE.

Post subject:  Re: The Dolphins

Remember how terrible the 2016 Bears were? They very well could have gone winless. Even they won three games. The 2017 team was two overtime wins away from being 1-12 at one point. Football is weird and dumb.

They'll take at least one from the Jets, the game at the end with Cincinnati, and then pick up another dumb win somewhere. Maybe Buffalo or Washington.

If you ignore the team that plays for the championship every fucking year, the league's wide-open! Great news for the NBA.

But there’s no evidence that is widespread and there’s a ton of evidence that ends when the BB/Brady alliance does.

Try to find some wins for this team.

@ Cowboys - L
Chargers - L
Redskins - W
@ Bills - L
@ Steelers - L
Jets - W
@ Colts - L
Bills - L
@Browns - L
Eagles - L
@Jets - L
@Giants - L
Bengals - L
@ Patriots - L

2-14 is pretty conservative.
They could conceivably win 3 out of their final 4 games.

Will the Dolphins be favorites at any point this year?
