A lot of them this year.

Belichick - should win every year
LeFleur - Matched last season's win total by Week 7
Payton - Doing his usual excellent job this time without Brees for half the year so far
Shanahan - 49ers are 6-0 and have Jimmy G as their QB
Frank Reich - Colts dont miss Luck at all
McDermott - Bills have the 2nd best record in the AFC
Harbaugh - Has turned a Lamar Jackson led offense into one of the most potent in the league
Brian Flores - As successful as any HC in the league at executing his GM's vision for the team

It's about time they give it to BB again

And his GM is giving him everything (nothing) to get the job done.

I hope the owner/GM slipped him some extra cash for that ridiculous 2 point attempt against the Redskins.

It's time to name the award after BB. He's beyond winning that trivial award.

a lesser coach than Mike Zimmer would have lost that team

Hopefully for whoever wins it, they don’t get the Nagy curse.

The Marvin Lewis coaching tree has one good branch.

Small knock on Belichick is that he had Brady, Jimmy G, and Brissett on the same team and didn't know what he had.

Kyle Shanahan or Frank Reich at Indy have to be the main contenders right now.

Speaking of Shanahan, why the hell didn't the Bears hire the other Shanahan, Mike Shanahan, as HC as an Oak Park guy? Instead of getting a two-time Superbowl winner or even Andy Reid, we got the Arena football league guy.

We wouldn't be in this situation now, if they had done that. The Bears organization continues to be dumb as rocks and has been since Ditka's time. What misery we've gone through because the Bears are so cheap about hiring head coaches. Except Fox, the following is a list of nobodys. We got lucky with Lovie that he had Urlacher and a defense.

Dave Wannstedt 1993–1998
Dick Jauron 1999–2003
Lovie Smith 2004–2012
Marc Trestman 2013–2014
John Fox 2015–2017
Matt Nagy 2018 - Present

Wanny was one of the hottest candidates at that time.

If they make the playoffs, coach visor definitely should get some consideration.

Lovie was probably the winningest in the NFL coach not named Bellichik over the time he was here. Rube is just a complete simpleton.

Reich or Harbaugh. The Colts should have 3 more wins if Viniteri didn't suck.

Belichick didn't want to trade Garoppolo, did he? Boston sports talk radio says Belichick loved Jimmy G "like a son" and that Kraft/Brady forced Belichick to trade him.

Yeah if he gets that team into the playoffs there’s no way he shouldn’t get it .

I think I’d put it like this right now

1.) John Harbaugh
2.) Mike Tomlin
3.) Kyle Shanahan
4.) Sean McDermott

I think a strong case could be made for any of those four currently.

No that's right. Brady and management forced his hand if I'm remembering that SI piece correctly.

Tomlin definitely belongs in the top 3, he's a great coach. Never been below .500 in his NFL career.
