That is what happens when you lose to the Redskins. |

this could be the start of a cool new trend... hiring coaches away from teams in-season |

Will make a solid Bears coach next year. Probably bring Cam with him. |

you know what, sure bring cam here... as long as the draft compensation to acquire him is near insignificant.... then when cam arrives use him the same way you'd have used 25 year old cam... and hope you get one good year out of him |

They are going nowhere. He wasn't coming back and still gets paid. This way they can get a head start on looking for a coach without having to do everything in secret. |

The Panthers are leading the NFL in sacks and are 3rd in interceptions. It's a good bet he'll be back as a defensive coordinator next season. |

As much as Nagy deserves to be fired....he is in the 2nd year of a 5 year contract. Not a chance in hell he gets axed this offseason. |

The Bears can help Chico get the Cowboys job Friday by blowing them out Thursday. |

He has been dead man walking for a month, but losing to the Falcons and the Redskins at home in less than a month... and reports were that there were a ton of no shows for the Redskins game. It was a mercy firing. |

I'd take Ron as HC and Norv Turner as OC right now. It would be an upgrade from Professor Gadget. |

It's more disrespectful to keep him around knowing that you're just gonna fire him first thing Monday after the season ends. This is better for Ron's dignity and better for the GM - he can start the search now without worrying about tipping off the guy he plans to fire. |

The most striking one to me is Hilgenberg. |

Maybe he will get hired by AM1000 and be reunited with Mike Murphy for more episodes of Chico and The Murph. |
