I can see Winston having a Fitzpatrick-like career. I'm not even a Bears fan and I find (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky frustrating. The ball can literally end up anywhere. |

Link to analysts saying Jameis is a bad QB and should be replaced? Lol. You have google. Or, as I already posted, we can just go with Jameis’s own head coach saying if they can win with him they can with another QB too. You won’t find a Nagy quote about Mitch that is nearly as damning. |

I think he's done the "tough talk" angle before if I'm not mistake in Arizona. This seems to be his style. Nagy "be you" is decidedly not a tough talker, at least publicly. |

Jameis has been in the league for 5 years. Mitch for 3. I have to question the football knowledge of anyone who thinks Jameis will improve and Mitch won’t. It wasn’t a motivating tactic. Jameis just isn’t good and Arians is publicly telling his GM to find him a new QB. There aren’t even any lines to read between. |

A football-casual friend of mine recently asked me "why don't the bears have a good young backup qb like all these other teams?" (????) so I just retorted "they do, but the thing is that he's technically their franchise QB" (the only thing I can think of is that he meant having a young qb who redshirts as a backup for at least a chunk of his first season like Mahomes, Lamar, or technically B!tch Truemissky.) |
