The M&H show this morning speculated that Belichik could actually be the odd man out in New England, as Kraft can't bear the thought of losing Brady (and Belichick might be pushing to move on from Tom). New York Giants would be the more likely spot, but I'd love to see him in Dallas with Jerry.

Ok, I guess not...Dallas just signed McCarthy. What a mistake.

This was probably the best the Cowboys could do.

I don't get all the extreme hate about the hire. Sure, he fizzled out after a long tenure in GB. It got disappointing and frustrating toward the end. I get that. Overall, he won a SB and had the team in the playoffs nearly every year he was there. He's been to the playoffs more than Sean Payton and has a better post season winning percentage than him. In Dallas, he's light years ahead of Jason Garrett so there should be an immediate boost in performance there. If you're Dallas, what's not to like?

Rodgers has looked fairly pedestrian without him.

Rodgers hasn’t been great since 2014 outside of a 6 game stretch in 2016. Has nothing to do with McCarthy.

As one of the two Saints fans here, I've been agreeing with this for years.

He topped out years ago, but a flaky division has helped deflect from that truth.

Imho.

New England has distorted perceptions and reasonable expectations.

Payton and Brees
McCarthy and Rodgers
Dungy and Peyton
Holmgren and Favre
Carroll and Russell

All have 1 ring together. It’s really hard to win a Super Bowl even when you have a great team.

It’s almost as if there are 31 other teams trying to win it instead of your team.

You forgot both Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Two one win coaches in same period as well.

Because organizations win championships.. :D

I didn’t forget anybody. Just illustrating a point.

Nonsense, he throws TDs and very few picks, the play calling is atrocious..it was atrocious under McCarthy too.

Going for the interception record and receivers who run the wrong route can cause it.

Nas, Davante Adams knows how to run the correct routes. You should try watching the games.
