This is NOTHING like when they took Rodgers. The fact that they are so smug and self assured about this is hilarious. |

But yeah, eventually the time will come when you have to reckon with the fact this colossal fuck-up. Wasting the last years of Rodgers to take the heir apprarent was one thing...but Jordan Love? Really? That's Bears shit. |

Jefferson and Reagor were right there if you wanted to trade up. Rodgers should riot. So disrespectful how they treated him |

He's going to openly revolt. McCarthy has to be laughing his ass off from Dallas. Look Rodgers last year looked like a quarterback in decline. It was not a bad idea to seize on a quarterback. But there's a difference between a guy like Tua inexplicably falling to 1.26 and overdrafting Jordan Love by fifty picks. The Packers definitely got caught trying to be the smartest guys in the room. The Packers should have just drafted Mims and seen if a beefed up receiver corps could get a big last year out of 12. |

The Rodgers origin story of his draft fall and enraged glares at Radio City Music HAll was telling. It showed that Rodgers had that fire, he was taking names of all the people who wronged him and the fueled him to realize his immense talent (which really should have been drafted in the top three, not even with the benefit of hindsight). Love is just emotionally and mentally vacant. Mahomes is kind of a silly goofball who puts ketchup on steaks and likes to see the ball go far. That's an identity. Brady is a Football Robot. Jordan Love? Lights are on but nobody is home. |

Has Utah State ever had a Hall of Fame player prior to Love? |

I think Gutekunst and LaFleur intended this to be a shot across 12's bow. They are tired of his bitching and pouting. Still, a first and fourth round pick is an expensive way to just send a message. |

Rodgers is 36 and injury prone. Needed to be done. |

One of the draft guys said Love was his number two QB choice last week. I can't remember who it was, or even which show it was on (DP or LeBatard?). The host was quite stunned. |

Packers' QB evaluation since Rodgers has been bad. Might as well keep shooting shots and maybe one goes in. Ok, so 1st round QB pick busts. Happens multiple times every class. Oh well, not a top 10 pick that sets you back 3-4 years. The Rashan Gary pick was far more annoying. |

Kirkwood wrote: Rodgers is 36 and injury prone. Needed to be done. You're not wrong, but the guy you've drafted to replace him is a total zero who wouldn't be drafted in the top hundred picks if it weren't for Mahomes making gunslingers cool again. Did the Packers even get to interview him? Because he sure seems like he's kinda got nothing going on when you hear him talk. Lotta teams with sneaky needs at quarterback passed on him. Your big red flag had to be when Bill Belichick traded back. |
