Still a terrible trade..

1. No excuse to take on Dave Johnson or that bad contract..this ain't the NBA where you need to match salary.

2. I can't buy that no team would cough up a first round pick for a top 3 WR in the league.. Pace probably would have given him 2 firsts.

Zierlein does a radio show in Houston. He says the problem there is they don't have a person that understands player value. He says that's why some of their contracts are out of line with the rest of the league (like Tunsil). He said teams stopped taking their calls during the draft because they were wasting people's time making ridiculous low-ball trade proposals.

Article misses the point - it's not about trading Hopkins it's about extracting max value when trading Hopkins. They didn't.
