He's too dumb to realize he's not supposed to be this good.

Nope. I was sitting in Harrah’s watching him play and seemed like a risky gunslinger. But he has arm talent. I hope he’s more Favre than Cutler. QB play drives the league.

Yeah.

Continent did.

Maybe he’ll reply here with one of his new mults to talk about it.

I was dead wrong about Herbert.

Some of his decision making in college wasn’t that good, but then again he wasn’t really playing with anyone good on his Oregon teams.

That’s the issue- decision making, thus my comparison above. The talent is there.

I wonder if he drives a used Camry.

Draft a QB every year. Eventually one will be good and immune to the shitty coaching they have gotten the past century from Bear's coaching.

Continent liked Herbert for a couple weeks and then, in keeping with his Cairo-esque mental instability, completely flipped on him. Then he got mad at me for pointing out that he flipped on him.

I am postive Mitch never threw a pass like Herbert did to Williams. Absolute cannon.

Chargers best 1-4 team in league if they lose tonight.

Pace doesn't like to do the obvious and scout football players from football schools. He struck gold in picking up a QB who struggled to start at a basketball school. Now there are reports he's sleuthing around the Illinois School of Broadcasting's dodgeball court for his next discovery.

Yes. Yes. You know what's interesting. The former quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons was Bobby Hebert. No "r" which I find fascinating. You know it's Herbert h-e-r-b-e-r-t, Hebert h-e-b-e-r-t. "Hebert" it's a fun name to pronounce. Try and say it Hebert. Take a shot. All right.

impressive arm, wish this kid was on the bear. they got a little too conservative with the playcalling early in 2nd half. doesnt look scared or timid.

I don't remember if I liked him or didn't. I don't think he was prepared to be a QB. Good mobility and he had a huge arm at the combine, which really had him climbing. He didn't seem gifted intellectually.

The guy has looked in control from the very first game he played. He looked like a veteran.

I love Burrow and think the sky is the limit. If you redrafted today, I'm not sure Herbert doesn't go #1.

The important thing is I picked him up in fantasy football last week.

Been seeing a lot of this on Twitter since last night and I think it's a crazy opinion. Burrow would still be my clear cut #1

Nice pickup.. he's outplaying Lamar.

Burrow was the clear #1 but Miami better hope Tua plays to expectations.

Herbert had some critics but the top tier evaluators liked him a lot (especially Brugler).

I didn't like him, he was up and down at Oregon. It probably was more to do with the revolving door coaches and thin weapons.

While I also question kids that come back for their senior season after being projected as first rounders after their jr. years, the kid DID graduate with Honors majoring in Biology. So he seems gifted intellectually enough.

I think intellect is being given more weight than it should, ignoring the subjectiveness of "intellect" anyway. You can have a cannon for an arm, be a Rhodes scholar, and still suck on the field.
