Giants at Eagles.

Should be a good division tussle. The start of many nfc east games in the coming weeks.

This is a winnable game by Philadelphia to get on track.

And now, for the rest of the damn games:

Lions @ Falcons - Lions have played better on the road than at home this year. ATL finally broke thru at Minny and this is a game they should win. One of these teams will out-bungle the other in order to win. Be on the lookout for Patricia pics and reactions!

Browns @ Bengals - First rematch of the year that I can tell. Browns won the first one at home. That one resulted in sjboyd's ONLY NFL-related analysis of the year. Maybe he'll come out of the woodwork for this one too. Bengals played good the first game. No Joe Mixon this time but Gio Bernard is capable. Baker Mayfield though, should bounce back here. He will have to have a good game to win this one, as Nick Chubb will still be out.

Panthers @ Saints - Panthers have won a lot of games in NO over the years. This one should be no different. Saints struggled at home vs Chargers. Coming off bye now, but without WR's Thomas & Sanders. Panther defense will be salivating.

Bills @ Jets - Sam Darnold will be back, but he sux and wont make much difference. Bills have struggled recently but should get better here.

Cowboys @ Skins - Cowboys just can't win. If Red Rifle doesnt turn the ball over they have half a chance. That wont be the case. Skins should win at home. Kyle Allen is good enough.

Packers @ Texans - Hard to believe Texans are 1-5. They have more talent than that but every year they dig themselves a hole. This will be a close game and Texans might win. Packers always go thru a rut every year. This might be one of 'em.

Steelers @ Titans - Another battle of undefeated teams. Had a bunch of em lately. I see the Titans winning this one. Steelers also go thru a rut every year.

Bucs @ Raiders - Rematch of 2002 Super Bowl. Bucs havent been as sharp on the road this year. Raiders are inconsistent. Will be a toss-up.

49ers @ Patriots - Jimmy G returns to NE. Last time '9ers played at NE, you know what happened? Colin Kapernik won. NE with a full week of practice should be better.

Chiefs @ Broncos - Denver impressive in win at NE last week. But their offense is not high-powered. This wont be easy for the Chiefs, as they will need to run the ball effectively again. Will be a close one.

Jaguars @ Chargers - Minshew vs Herbert. Chargers coming off 2 tough losses in the NFC South and a bye. They had a few of their games shuffled around last week due to Covid. Should win here against a bad Jagiuar team.

Seahwaks @ Cardinals - 2 QB's that are similar. Murray can flat out run. I think AZ takes this one quite easily. Seahwaks have won a bunch of close games that they coulda lost. The dam finally breaks here, as Wilson cannot sustain being a 1-man show every week.

Bears @ Rams - See Pro Football Weekly. J/K. Bears have a chance to go 6-1 and just might do it. Rematch of last year's game which the Rams won but not overwhelmingly. To me Jared Goff sux, so when they lose, it's not a surprise. They have had somewhat of an easy schedule. In fact, all 4 of their wins have come against the NFC East (combined 6 wins). If Rams win it will be due to their defense.

Let’s fucking go. I would’ve paid like $1,000 to watch this game live back in April. No such thing as a bad football game

Literally talking about that right now. He adds nothing to the broadcasts for the sports he ostensibly knows. He’s not at all likeable.

Why put this guy on tv right now.

He's horrible. I was really hoping he would be a Mets owner to get him out of the booth.

Outstanding QB sneak call needing 2 yards for 1st.

I can’t stand businessman ARod.

Getting paid a shit ton of money for being great at sports ≠ being a savvy investor/operator.

If businessman ARod isn't announcing games, I'm all for it.

I thought I had accidentally clicked the World Series and thought “didn’t think Game 3 was tonight” then Bradshaw entered the picture and I was like “aw hell no...”

If you’re not going to hate the national announcers then what’s the point of even watching?

How good is Wentz? I know his stats are shit this year. Do people think he’s a top 15 QB?

I legitimately was asking. I don’t follow the Eagles or football as a whole too closely

Fair enough.

He's nowhere near a top 20 quarterback.

No

Mahomes
Watson
Brees
Prescott
Wilson
Big Ben
Lamar
A-Rod
Tannehill
Ryan
Burrow
Newton
Stafford
Allen
Herbert
Rivers
Probably Tua
Fitzpatrick

Ok, 18-19th at best.

Damn, fitz and Tua over Wentz? And a 2020 Phil Rivers?

Author:  FavreFan [ Thu Oct 22, 2020 8:31 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Week 7 - giants @ Eagles

Rivers is without a doubt worse than Wentz right now. He’s better than Burrow right now but I expect that to change. He’s better than Stafford - they’re essentially the same guy but Wentz is more mobile.

Brees kinda sucks now. Big Ben is ok. There’s only like 12 or so QBs that are definitely better than Wentz than it gets murky.
