Rematch of last year's NFC Championship game.

Since then, the Packers have gotten sharper, and the 49ers have had their wheels fall off with a bunch of injuries.

Garappolo and Kittle are out on IR.

Who wins?

And now, for the ther damn games:

Broncos @ Falcons - I think finally the Falcons win a home game here without bungling it away. Drew Lock is terrible, and RB Phil Lindsay is OUT. Denver does have a good defense though, so anything is possible.

Seahawks @ Bills - Bills barely beat NE at home last week and have struggled in the last month. I keep waiting for Seattle to come back to earth but doesnt seem to be happening.

Ravens @ Colts - Should be a good one, but Baltimore ready to bounce back after home loss to PIT. P. Rivers has been doin' good lately.

Texans @ Jaguars - Minshew is out, Jaguars starting rookie QB. Should finally be a chance for the underachieving Texans to win. Poor JJ Watt, as hard as he plays, his team gives up 40 points every week it seems.

Panthers @ Chiefs - Christian McCaffrey is back. This will actually be a decent game. Sammy Watkins also is out but shouldnt hurt much.

Lions @ Vikings - Vikings may have righted the ship. Dalvin Cook retutrned last week and powered MIN to a win at GB.

Bears @ Titans - Titans have lost 2 in a row, should be better against the Bears at home. The Bears look terrible on offense and offensively they have no chance today. None.

Giants @ Skins - Always a toss-up division game. Both teams have played up to their competition this year. But Daniel Jones is just not a good QB. The presidential trend failed this year for the skins, as they beat Dallas at home 2 weeks ago and Trump lost. Skins coming off bye.

Raiders @ Chargers - Keenan Allen out. Should be a good game, but Carr is the more veteran QB and should come out on top.

Dolphins @ Cardinals - Dolphins had things go their way last week but this is a tougher opponent. Tua sucks and he will find that out here.

Steelers @ Cowboys - Dallas starting another rookie QB this week. Just a terrible team.

Saints @ Bucs - Rematch from Week 1. Bucs are much more polished now and should get the win. Saints have a good record but havent exactly been dominating teams. How they gave up a 10 point lead to the Bears in the 4th quarter last week is beyond me.

Rodgers loves challenges. Hes going to light this game up with his arm. Theyre gonna win.

These sponsored interviews are awkward as shit. John Lynch driving through streets of San Fran in a GMC truck talking about the beauty of the city, while he’s 50 miles away from where the niners actually play is just weird.

And just when I thought fox’s production sucked, they run that ‘no playoff hope’ commercial and totally redeem themselves.

Whats that position the packers have where the guy uses an overhand motion to throw the ball and it always goes into someones hands?

Why does wisconsin always have the highest per capita of drunks?

Free touchdown shots at every bar.

Why don't they give Aaron Jones the ball at the GL?

Because they wanted to score the touchdown that they scored.

Because they don't care about your fantasy football team.

Spoken as someone who has Aaron Rodgers this year.

I expect the bear game to play similarly

Cowboys were robbed.

2 ticky-tack penalties on them cost em the game.

The first, an illegal hands to the face gave the Steelers a first down when it woulda forced a punt. They went on to score a TD.

The second, roughing the passer penalty, dude accidentally swiped his arm across Ben's face after he threw the ball as guys were falling down.

Terrible call. I'm glad PT won, but I couldnt help but think that if that was called 30 years ago there woulda been an uproar.

No, it did not.

More importantly, it was a very rare example of a current NFL player making a good tackle.

Agreed. Chris Reed isn't as familiar with Kwiatkoski's tackling ability as someone like you.

Edit: I typed this out earlier, but didn't submit until just now. So yeah, what WD said.

When I was watching live and knowing how shitty our defense is I thought he was going to walk in. Kwiatkoski wasn't visible until last moment so I assumed nobody would be there or it would be Joyner.

At least he didn't attempt a spearing lunge at him resulting in a complete miss.

Agholor and Booker have been good but Kwiatkoski has been our best FA signing IMO.

Post subject:  Re: 2020 Week 9

I really dont like the seeming trend this year that teams are letting off the gas when they have a big lead, and I'm talkin' in the games they WIN.

I'm not talkin the Falcons collapses turing into losses and shit.

I'm talkin about having a big lead and letting the other team score 2 or 3 4th quarter TDs but still holding on to win the game.

This is bullshit.

If you dominate a game, the score should reflect that.

Example: Falcons dominated Denver the whole game, were leading 34-10, and Drew Lock leads 3 4th quarter scores and had a last minute drive to try and tie the score. This is ridiculous. To lead 34-10 and win 34-27.

Titans led the Bears 24-3 and won 24-17. This makes it look like a close game. WHy let off the gas defensively? It's ridiculous.

I've seen it this year more than ever. Again, I'm not even talkin about the leads that teams have actually BLOWN and lost.

And I'm not talkin about they should score more points. I'm talkin DEFENSIVELY. They lazily rush 3 guys and just play prevent. STOP DOING THAT. Put pressure and put ur foot on their throat. This has always been the way of football. But this year, teams are just happy to skate by with the fuckin' win.
