Post subject:  2020 Week 13

Lot of large and double-digit spreads this week. Strange considering I can see the underdog winning some of these games.
3 games on Mon and Tuesday.

Saints @ Falcons - Taysom Hill at QB again for NO. Atlanta only seems to win when it's least expected. So even though on paper they have a good chance of winning, considering their 43-6 win vs Raiders last week, I will take the Saints here. Julio Jones and Gurley are questionable.

Lions @ Bears - 2 bad teams. The Bears do have a good defense though and should win at home. The key: no turnovers by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. Adrian Peterson had 2 TDs last week after I highlighted him in my game previews. He should do well again as he's had great success against the Bears. One other thing of note: No Matt Patricia. Darrell Bevel is the interim coach.

Colts @ Texans - Can the Colts overachieve again? Texans finally winning some games. This is the first meeting this year. Rematch in 2 weeks. Colts failed against TEN last week.

Raiders @ Jets - Raiders should bounce back, but the Jets are due to get their first win. Raiders have visited the Jets only 5 times in the last 23 years, and they've lost all 5 of those games and the last 6 there. Their last win at NYJ was in 1996.

Browns @ Titans - This is the game that should finally expose the Browns as overachieving. But who knows. They have the #1 ground game in the NFL and 2 guys at that. This could match up well with D. Henry. Browns have won a lot of game vs TEN that last 20 years, including a lot of barnburners in Nashville. That said, Titans have won the last 3 vs Browns. Baker Mayfield will need to get it done for them to win. I dont see it happening. 4.5 points seems way to small, but then again, Vegas knows what's up.

Bengals @ Dolphins - Tua returns as starting QB. He sucks, but this will be covered up by who theyre playin'. Dolphins won an OT barnburner last year vs CIN. And who can forget the Thursday night OT victory on a safety in 2013.

Jaguars @ Vikings - Funny how MIN is favored by 10 piints, considering the Jaguars lost on the road at Green Bay by only 4 just 3 weeks ago. I dont see MIN beating anyone by 10 points. This is a good game to bet JAX ATS. Mike Glennon starts again.

Rams @ Cardinals - These NFC West games are always evenly matched and tough to predict. The Cardinals seem to lay an egg when you think they should win this year. I think they should win this, but the Rams are equally as unpredictable. Rams have actually won 6 in a row in the series, including 2 shutouts! This is the first matchup this year, rematch in a couple weeks. They played both games in December last year as well. I say AZ wins here but Murray will have to have a HUGE game running and passing as the Rams defensive front is stout.

Giants @ Seahawks - Seattle favored by 11 here. They should win here as Colt McCoy is startin' for D. Jones, but the Giants have been playing pretty good ball the last couple months. McCoy, by the way is one of my favorite backups as well as names in sports. Hard to believe he's still around. He's nothin but a dink and dunker though.

Eagles @ Packers - GB favored by 8.5. Looks like an easy win on paper. Carson Wentz is terrible and has had a long leash. We keep waiting for the Eagles to play better but it doesnt look like it will happen.

Patriots @ Chargers - NE doesn't goto the west coast very often. They've won the last 6 games vs SD/LAC, including 2 playoff games. The last loss was in SD in 2008 during the Cassell year. One thing to note about NE. They are NOT out of the playoff picture. They hold tiebreakers over Baltimore and Vegas with wins over them. I think their defense gets it done here. Belichik is a master at stifling good young QBs on the rise. Herbert will be no exception. Cam has shown he can right the ship this year and will do so again.

Broncos @ Chiefs - Chiefs favored by 14 here. A little too high. Denver has their QBs back. Philip Lindsay is out though. Easy win for chiefs.

*******************

Skins @ Steelers - Looks like a mismatch on paper. Skins off a mini-bye after big win at Dallas. Should be a good game. Steelers just played Wed. and havent had much rest. Skins will keep it close. Alex Smith starting again.

Bills @ Niners - Bills stunned at last second the last time they visited the NFC West. Will be a tough black and blue game but Bills should come out on top.

Cowboys @ Ravens - Lamar Jackson activated today and will start. They gave Steelers a good game with a lot of their players out. This should be agame they bounce back. But, Dallas always plays well when they hit rock bottom and you least expect it. I see Dallas leading for most of this one and the Ravens pulling off a late comeback close win.

well I hinted at it.

Sure enough, Browns walloping TEN 24-7. Baker Mayfield exploding.

Also I was right on the Jaguars. Leading 9-0 at Minny.

Post subject:  Re: 2020 Week 13

great divisional game, Colts vs Texans.

absolutley BS interception on Watson.

I dont think that shoulda been a turnover, but if it is, at least call it a fumble, not an INT.

The pass was accurate, away from the defender, it wasnt tipped, but somehow it looks bad on Watson. They need to review that "football move" rule in the offseason if the guy has already been tackled.

Browns have done this before.

Launched out to a HUGE 30 point lead at Dallas and let em back in.

Similarly, TEN has gotten 2 TDs, Browns now lead 41-21. Too often this year teams just let off the gas and let teams back in the game.

terrible call. Pass up a chip shot FG on 4th and 1.

Gotta take the points there.

JJ Watt doin' great though.

I don't pay enough attention on Sundays (outside of Buck/Aikman and Nantz/Romo) to match a voice with a name. As soon as I heard him tell me Jefferson has enough for the 1st down, I had to look up who this idiot was.

As soon as I saw Packers and heard Romo I switched.

Post subject:  Re: 2020 Week 13

Colt McCoy has somehow defeated Russell Wilson in Seattle.

I talked about how the spreads were very large today, maybe too large, and u guys simply laughed ur asses off.

Meanwhile, Belichik stifles another young QB on the rise. 45-0. I'm tellin' you, this team will make the playoffs.

Hill just caught a TD, thought it hit the ground and the Chiefs didn't realize it was a TD until after they punted it away.

Holy shit, Tyreek Hill made an unbelievable catch that was ruled incomplete, and Reid didn’t challenge.

Hill thought he dropped it. But Andy should have made sure.

Browns were leading 38-7 and only won by 6.

Another example of a team letting off the gas.

It's been ridiculous this year. Dont you want the pride of winning by 20 or 30? On the road against a good team?

You mean the 4-7 team that is currently trailing the lowly Giants in the worst division in football? Hot take.

Sorry, you are correct on the record. NFL.com hasn’t updated the standings. Still not good though. The Steelers were not nearly as tough as their record would indicate. Nobody in that division is good but I feel like the Giants are on a better path going into next year than the WFT.

NY is pretty sound, also better than their record. They are a QB away from doing some damage.

Boy the Red Rifle has a HUGE arm.

That ball was 65 yards in the AIR.

And they almost got it too.

Post subject:  Re: 2020 Week 13

Red Rifle is now playing like I expected. He is a good QB and their offense, though only 10 points so far, feels a lot more formidable than when he was out.

Dez Bryant tested before the game AFTER he was on the field warming up.

Tested positive. They get results THAT quick now?

Anyway they pulled him from the game.

Fuck, is it that easy to get this? You figure he's been tested every day lately.

Too bad, he was excited about this game. But, coulda been a super spreader.
