This guy has the Cowboys offense rocking and a rolling. Hindsight 20/20 but clearly a dumb move by Green Bay for firing this guy. |

Yeah, it’s kind of funny how they made a big deal about how rare it is for an offensive HC to adopt the offensive system and verbiage of an incumbent OC. Nobody’s trusting Mike to do anything down there. They probably should’ve just promoted Kellen Moore. |

Nagy could take a page from Mike and reinvent himself as a CEO type coach that doesn’t really mess with the offense or defense. Doesn’t work often, like Harbaugh and Bill, and I doubt it would work with Nagy, but if you feel keeping the locker room is important it’s his best shot. |

Moore's improved by leaps and bounds as the Cowboys OC. His work with Dak + Moore's game-planning and play calling = good candidate to take over for Nagy after this season Tho you would think that Moore's being kept off the market for HC jobs b/c he's in line to take over for McCarthy, sounds like that's not the case. Moore even interviewed for the Eagles HC job in January a few weeks after signing a 3 year extension to remain the Cowboys' OC:   Any HC job, including the Cowboys? when they finally realize McCarthy sucks and they'd be better off without him Moore must have an out in his new deal to interview for and accept HC jobs, lateral moves probably forbidden:  Dak has said he audibles out of Moore's calls regularly, probably more often than he should. e.g., tonight's game in the 3rd quarter after the Eagles TD: Moore started the drive with a zeke run, 15 yd pass, 15 yd pass. Moore then called for Dak to repeat the sequence but Prescott audible'd out of it to call his own number going the other way and it killed the drive. |
