Stupid. NFL playoffs with the 6 team setup was perfect as it was. Leave it to the NFL to fuck it up.

It used to only be 4 games on wild card weekend. I think when they turned it into 6 that this is a good logical step.

I love playoff football but I don't need 3 games in a row.

3 games a day on Sunday is fine, that's every Sunday during the regular season. Back to back days of 3 games? That's a bit much. There's probably some "competitive advantage" issues the Monday Night winner will have with the short week, not that the NFL cares.

At some point during the divisional round, there will definitely be a team that played at noon/1pm the previous Saturday versus a team who played the previous Monday night. Just a matter of when that happens, not if. And yes that would give the Saturday team an advantage. Especially if the Monday team is on the road for both games.

Those same competitive advantages existed for the Saturday and Sunday games too.

It's not the same. A team playing Saturday- Saturday has an advantage over a team playing Monday- Saturday

I agree with that, but I think they'll find a way to make sure the Monday team plays an opponent from the Sunday game OR that will be the opponent of the team who had a Bye.
