I've been cracking up at this.

"Coach are you talking to Brian Flores or Brian Daboll"

I’ve skimmed the 58 pages. He hits a lot of the highlights:

- Kaepernick should have gotten a job
- Gruden called Goodell a burrito
- black players get 70% of the roster spots

Some new info:

- Stephen Ross wanted to pay him per loss in 2019 (joe burrow draft)
- Ross tried to play matchmaker on a yacht with a ‘high profile QB’ (watson)
- John Elway was too drunk to hire a young Flores over do nothing white guy Vic Fangio
- He had token Rooney rule interviews with the Giants
- he knows that last one because belichik accidentally congratulated him on getting the job instead of Daboll before Flores had even interviewed.

Lotta good stuff in there. Google it; I’m too lazy to link.

There are always "favorites" for any position. The fact that the Giants were known to like Daboll before Flores interviewed is not proof of racial discrimination.

It is pretty fucked up that Flores isn't a head coach by now. He took a team of fucking nobody's to 10 and 9 wins. Literally zero talent on the Dolphins.

The Dolphins spread a lot of info about him it seems.

Of course not. And the Rooney rule is obviously going to create token interviews in situations like this where there’s a preexisting relationship between the new coach and the guy making the hiring decision. His complaint about the Giants situation reads like he felt entitled to the job.

Most significant thing out of this is that Ross should no longer own the Dolphins if he can prove this tanking stuff.

Pretty successfully. I assumed he hadn’t gotten a job because of his personality based on everything we heard.

Right. The pinheads on the Score are proceeding as if BB's mixup proves discrimination.

agree, teams are allowed to have favorites...giants brass should have held that info closer to the vest though.

maybe the point of the lawsuit is to get stuff out in the open about the shady dolphins. dolphins using the media to paint him as an angry black man, he's pushing back against their bullshit.

P&S talking about it now.

Shane’s point that the Giants gave two black candidates 2nd interviews seems to hurt Flores a little bit. Timing seems to be that Flores interviewed with Mara before Schoen was hired. Second interview came after the BB text and was with the GM who apparently had no interest in him.

Regardless of the other candidates, there is no evidence that the Giants didn't hire Flores for reasons of racial discrimination.

It seems like a lot of irrelevant griping except for Ross buying Burrow.

I was pretty vocal about questioning the Flores hit pieces mysteriously coming out after the firing. I can now reveal I’m Flores’ close personal friend and he told me all about the upcoming lawsuit and that’s why I posted it.

I've grown to hate the NFL and it's management outside of Pittsburgh, this doesn't help.

Or surprise me.

None of you really believe Belichick mixed up Flores and Daboll, right?

He killed his coaching career in the NFL. Maybe he will help someone else.

The Dolphins put in work. I've recognized that I've been pushing their narrative. Partially because all Belichick disciples operate in a similar manner.

Bill sabotaged him to get him back as a coordinator

That the figurehead running the Bears is a former teammate and alleged friend of Flores and didn't get an interview spoke volumes.

Would you want a Belichick guy to be the coach if you got your first GM job?

Running Jim Caldwell off and going through 3 or 4 offensive coordinators in 3 seasons isn't a resume to get you automatically hired for a 2nd head coaching gig.

Does he have a case against the Dolphins for defamation? Did he file this because he recognized that he wasn't getting any available jobs?

These meatheads refer to each other as "Coach" even in casual conversation.

What an industry

Did Poles and Flores' paths even cross at Boston College?

I disagree. I don't think there was a person alive who didn't think he did a great job with those Dolphins teams. His possible personality issues shouldn't get in the way of that. A lot of coaches are insane.

That was the ceiling for those teams because of the offense. And you can't improve your offense or young QB when you're changing coordinators at that rate.
