Russell Wilson & Deshaun Watson both had histories of relying on home-run balls to put the ball in the end zone. Both struggled mightily to get anything going in their passing games in 2022.

two-high coverage shutting down the deep ball to blame?

Dodo bird rare are examples of Justin Fields passing skills in NFL games; but if you see any highlights of Fields passing in an NFL game, it's a bomb and not a series of precision short passes marching methodically down the field.

Another fan of fuck-it-I'm-going-deep Eh Eh Ron 2022 almost cut his TD's in half and tripled his INT's from his MVP season 2 years prior.

you would see those highlights from fields if the short/intermediate passes didn't bounce off the hands of St. Brown/Pettis

We'll see if DJ Moore makes a differnce

Oh, I thought you were going to say if he wasn't uncomfortable throwing those passes and didn't miss open receivers by 5+ yards. Hopefully, Moore will change that.

Those days are long passed. He just takes off on a 20 yard run when he is uncomfortable.

but he won't be this year because the line is much better

If Wright or Jones miss significant time the line is awful.
