Levis is already better than Pickett. Maybe the Steelers should have used the Bears pick on him.

Man, Kenny Pickett sucks.

I think anybody watching week 9 TNF would agree with that statement that I came to independent of any other posts.

Pickett missing a lot of throws. Hopefully it's due to his injured ribs.

Levis has a strong arm. Maybe the Bears should have used that pick they traded for Claypool on him.

No excuse for Pickens for not getting that 2nd foot down.

Yeah, he's been crazy Antonio Brown, but without the talent.

He has plenty of talent. Needs to get his emotions under control. Everyone knew he was a bit of a head case - it's why he fell to the second round. Hopefully he will mature.

Tomlin is going to win 11 games with this bum ass QB yet Nas doesn't think he's a good coach or would want the Bears to get him smh

He apparently shows up when it counts though . I wonder if the Pittsburgh media give him the excuses of he has no time to throw , his running game is bad , etc .

No, I don't want a coach who underachieves every season with great talent.

Nas thought Tomlin was an elite coach until he broke bad on Claypool.

there were a lot of people who liked that Petit-Friere for the Bears in the draft a couple of years ago. He looks like someone the Bears would draft for their line

He has an elite defense and great talent on offense. This is his hand selected quarterback and coordinator.

Is Pickens good or not? Pick a lane John Kerry What's this great talent on offense you speak of? They got Dionte Johnson, Pickens and that's it. The RB from Bama sucks(the backup may be better) no TE's and line is suspect.

Pickett is bad. Half of his throws are so off target that the receivers can't even try to catch them. But a couple times a game he makes a really nice throw (like the throw last night where Pickens couldn't make a toe drag that every WR in the league should make). You watch the games, and the offense is painful. However, the clock hits 0:00, and more often than not, the Steelers win. I don't know if it's voodoo, dumb luck, TJ Watt, nice game management by Tomlin, who knows?

Think it's 56 games now since the offense has had 400 total yards in a game. Even the Bears have done that twice this season.

17 years without a losing record has to mean something for coaching ability. At 5-3 now, and in the playoffs "if the season ended today", so decent chance the streak continues. Tough division games and Seattle left, but also Packers, Cardinals, Patriots, and Colts.

I think they’ve also beaten the great Baltimore Ravens 4 times in a row if I’m not mistaken?

Pickett wasn't even that great in college, after being there for forever. He was the best in a bad draft class which was the only reason he was a first rounder. I think he was evaluated as a 4-5 (maybe lower) the prior year

If we want to enforce some type of "lemon law" in the NFL, the Steelers should be forced to trade Pickens to the Bears for a 7th to make up for the Claypool trade

The defense isn't elite - look at the numbers. It has big playmakers that seem to make splash plays at just the right time to keep them in games. I really don't know how much the decision to keep Canada is his and his alone. The Rooneys are like the McCaskeys in that their wealth comes from owning an NFL team. The Steelers have a long history of not firing coaches until their contracts are up and that might come from the top. I haven't given up on Pickett yet because he shows flashes - particularly in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line. He needs to get more consistent by the end of the year though for me to feel comfortable going into next year without bringing in some competition.

Tomlin has repeatedly missed on his OC choices. Canada was so bad that Big Ben did his own thing. Didn't he get an extension?

The defense reminds me of a lot of Lovie's Bears defenses. They give up a lot of yards, but hold teams to FGs or they take the ball away. Ultimately, this team will only go as far as Watt takes them. They're AWFUL when he doesn't play.

I don't think Pickett is a difference maker. I think you can win with him. He does have some late game magic that is useful. You'll probably need another quarterback after next season.
