Do one on Sunday and the other on Monday.

You have 2 weeks before the Super Bowl so the Monday team won't be at a disadvantage. 13 off days is the same as 12 off days.

Networks will love it. CBS/FOX will both get their prime time game. More money from advertisers. They both can do 1.5 hours of pregame without one game overlapping the beginning of the other pre game show. Once again, more money from the pregame.

It's one extra day for us to hang with the girls that don't like sports but watch it because it's an event. They get drunk. I have a better chance of getting laid. If not Sunday then maybe Monday and we still have the Super Bowl in two weeks. 3 days is better than 2 days.

Drunk girl - Did my squares win?

Beardown- No bitch. Have another drink.

Everybody wins. Except the girl that sobers up the next day and remembers she banged me. She realizes she disgraced herself, her family, and all self respecting women. Oh well. Most people win. Hey, maybe she at least ended up winning squares.

You can't do Sat and Sun for the Conference championship games. One NFC/AFC winner played the divisional round on Saturday. One played on Sunday. So you'll have one of the championship games with a team playing on 5 days rest and the other on 6 days rest if they played on Saturday. That's unfair.

It has to be Sunday and Monday. Somebody will have an extra day and another team will have 2 extra days for the Monday game. But at least it's a full regular football week for both.

As it stands now, with both on Sunday, 2 teams have an extra day if they played the divisional round on Saturday. This year it's the Packers and Patriots with an extra day advantage.

I agree with you on the Super Bowl. There is no good reason why that game isn't played on Saturday with the 2 week delay.

I'd rather there be no bye-week before the Super Bowl. One week of promotion is enough.

Don't change a thing. It makes for a great day of sports viewing.
I enjoyed it immensely last year.

Sunday is a great day, but I'd love to have a Sunday and MNF kick off's at 7:00 PM.

This will be the only year where the stars and the moons align and being that this year the Monday is a holiday. Why don't they play the Monday game during the day?

Because the vast majority of the country, unless employed by the Federal Government, goes to work on that day.
