Lee Evans to the Ravens

How many fucking pro bowl recievers are gonna be traded for late rd draft picks before the Bears have a fucking 1200 yd reciever?

Ummm Evans got 1200 yards one time in his career, only got over 1000 yds 2 times.

He is not that good.

No thanks.

Talking like that may get you beaten randomly by a bunch of black folk in Wisconsin. I'm just sayin'...

You think the Ravens will give us boldin? I'm with Nas on that now.

I'm not going to lose sleep over not getting Lee Evans.

Better than any reciever currently on the Bears and better than anyone theyve had since Booker

He also has had absolute garbage at QB and still managed to put up big numbers.

He's also an awesome deep threat and his ypc is always near the top.

Im not saying he's Jerry Rice, but he is a very good reciver who's been to the pro bowl and it was for a 4th rd pick.

I certainly would've traded him for the great Knox....

You have an interesting understanding of "big" numbers.

The last 2 years he has put up 612 and 578 yds with a total of 11 TDs.

Sorry man, he had one pretty good year. He has never put up double digit TDs in a year. He is not a good receiver.

Average WR.

Rather have Roy Williams for nothing than Lee Evans for a 4th round pick.

He's better than Roy Williams.

So you must think Williams is also not a good reciever.

Both of them are better than anything the Bears have had in years.

I think you're underestimating how bad his QB's in Buffallo were.

Ill be interested to see how does this year anyway.

I don't think that is a given.

They have both been in the league the same amount of time.

Evans 5934 yds and 43 TDs

Williams 5206 yds and 42 TDs

Sure maybe Evans is better than anything else on the Bears besides Williams, but that is not really saying much and at this point in his career he is not worth giving up a 4th round pick.

I agree with RPB. Evans is a lot better than his numbers show. He would be an upgrade but learning the offense at this point would be a problem. I think the Bears will be fine at WR this year.

Evans is a better WR than Roy Williams, & he is a few years younger than Roy. Bears should have signed either Evans or Jerricho Cotchery.

 I'd like a better one.

Really still hoping on a OL.

Evans and Edwards were better than Williams. But Martz loved Williams. Jerry lets him have control of personal decisions on offense.

I thought edwards was too big of a risk.

Williams has some positives...might know the offense already. He's kind of a low risk/high reward type thing. I hope it works.

He is a risk but he's more productive. But Williams has been bad.

Martz might be right on this one, but I would have done it differently. I hope he proves me wrong.

I don't know. He was okay in Detroit then the drafted the other guy, was it johnson? He never was a good fit for Dallas.

Oh hamburgers. I just read Edwards contract was 1 yr, 1 million. Including incentives. I actually agreed with Williams over Edwards for this team, even though I think Edwards is more talented. But looking at that.

Braylon Edwards' one-year contract with the 49ers is for just $1 million with no guarantees.
The deal was previously reported as a $3.5 million contract, but Edwards will only earn that if he catches 90 balls and goes to the Pro Bowl. In other words, it's not happening. If he has an average year, he'll make around $2 million. It's a reminder of just how far Edwards' stock has fallen. The Niners didn't overpay for Edwards' name and fantasy owners shouldn't either.

Ugh. This makes me think the Bears missed out on several opportunities. Don't ask me to explain them right now. Just opportunities.

Shit. Lee Evans gone. My guy Stevie Johnson better get 90 catches for 1300 yards. Oh wait, Ryan Fitzpatrick is still the qb. :(

Wow, once again you are wrong.

Lee Evans Date of Birth: March 11, 1981

Roy Williams Date of Birth: Dec 20, 1981

The Bears could not have SIGNED Evans. He was not a Free Agent. The Ravens TRADED for him.

Cotchery? Seriously?

You are an idiot.

This. The Bears could have Jerry Rice in his prime on the roster and it wouldn't matter if Cutler has to employ a two step drop.

evans would be a solid #2 receiver on a team but as a #1, eh...he does average 15 yards a catch i think, though. him and boldin, two #2's. ravens will be good though. could be scary good.

Yeah I dont like to play the "he has no one around him" card much...but his QBs have been embarrassing.

evans is better than roy williams ..roy has played in domes in detroit n dallas in a passing offense with better qb's and receivers ....and evans would easily be the best wr on this bears team, what does it matter if you give a 4th round pick for him if angelo is drafting..plus the bears will have a worse record than baltimore so the pick would be higher than baltimores 4th so more incentive for buffalo to deal with the bears.
