Tier 1
Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees

Tier 2
Phillip Rivers
Mike Vick
Ben Roethlisberger

Tier 3
Joe Flacco
Matt Schaub
Tony Romo
Matthew Stafford
Matt Ryan

Tier 4
Eli Manning
Jay Cutler
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Sam Bradford
Josh Freeman
Mark Sanchez
Kyle Orton
Cam Newton

Tier 5
Matt Hasselbeck
Jason Campbell
Rex Grossman
Kevin Kolb
Colt McCoy
Chad Henne
Andy Dalton
Matt Cassell

Tier 6
Alex Smith
Donovan McNabb
Kerry Collins
Luke McCown

Cam Newton is the hardest to rank IMO, obviously along with the other really young guys. Also Im really not sure of Rex. Im pretty certain that Brady and Rodgers are the best and McCown is the worst. Beyond that, Im not at all completely sure who goes where, this is pretty much just a rough estimate.

Fitzpatrick is at least one tier too low. I'd put him in Tier 2.

I love me some Ryan Fitzpatrick but I wanted to see at least a full season from him before putting him in the top 10.

You have to be projecting with Stafford. He's looked good, but he's barely been on the field

Romo is too high.

Tier 3 and 4 can be combined. Id move Schaub up.

Eli way too low.

Romo way too high.

Manning is done. I have a feeling he's not coming back.

Vick and Stafford both have the same stipulation - they deserve to be in the Tier they are if healthy, which is obviously a big IF.

I think there is a difference between Tier 3 and Tier 4 guys. Admittedly, there isnt a ton of difference between the #6-14 guys.

I dont think Schaub is better than Romo. They both have put up fantastic stats with good supporting casts and never won any big games.

Define "way too". You really think Romo is lower than a Tier 3/4? Or Eli higher than a Tier 3/4? I can see making the argument to move up or down 1 tier, but not two.

Yeah, I've never made a secret of the fact that I think Romo is a TOTAL pussy and cannot, repeat CANNOT handle pressure.
He's proved over and over and over again that you don't want him in a pressure situation.

Eli is a damn good QB man. He's better than most people think IMO. Maybe not in Fantaasy football, but in NFL football. I'd take him over Cutler, Rivers, Vick...

Romo's numbers are not that great.

Yeah they are actually. 64% Completion, 95+ QB rating, 2-1 Td-INT ratio, 8.11 ypa. In a vacuum that is a very good quarterback.

Do you want him to lead your 2 minute drill with 90 seconds left and you're down 5?

Hell no.

You're a fast quoter. I edited that for inaccuracy like 10 seconds after I posted it.

No I wouldn't but I'm not completely writing him off yet. I think he can still have a Peyton in the 2006 AFC title game breakthrough.

5 years and WAITING. Meanwhile, back at the halls of Justice, romo just fumbled on the 2 yard line again...
And cried.

 We'll see. In the regular season if he is your starting QB over half the teams in the league would want to switch spots I believe.

Yeah, and in the post season (or in the de facto post season  ) he is a pussy. And can't be trusted.

True Manning and Favre who both get GOAT consideration were awful in more playoff games than they were good in.

I thingk you should be able to trust the top 11 QBs.
If you can't, not a top 11.
Thus my point... Romo too high. (or is it too far?? who gives a shit, it's gone.)

One under reported thing about Ryan Fitzpatrick is that he went to Harvard.

As for Sanchez, his career statistics look bad because he played right from the start of his rookie year. He's been much better since then but not a world beater.

Consistently better?

Two years playing...two bad years.

Last year he had a 75 RTG

He threw 17 TDS and had 18 TO's

If you want to include fumbles, you should include rushing tds.

The numbers are 20 tds, 14 TO's then.

sanchez will never be as good as hasselbeck or cassell...rex and sanchez are equals and both should be 2nd string

My math was different than yours. Nfl.com says he had one fumble lost and 13 interceptions in 2010.
