i like ray rice, very versatile. foster too, if he is really healthy (looked pretty healthy to me). i like the guys who are receiving threats out of the backfield. that helps in so many different ways, forcing a defense to have to focus on that. |

As far as a straight runner, AP is one of the greatest RB's in NFL history. The power and speed with which he runs is awesome. |

AP is still far and away the best RB in the league imo. He's the biggest game changers at any position in the league who opposing defenses strategies revolve around stopping him |

I feel like I have a better handle on this now. I'm pretty certain the top 3, in order, are Peterson, Foster, Jones-Drew. I think Forte/McCoy/McFadden are 4/5/6 in some order. |

I think Forte has been the best this year. That being said I don't think he's a top 5 RB. |

It's not particularly close either. This reminds me of you trying to compare LT to AP during Peterson's rookie year.

There is more to playing running back than just running the ball. Also McDaniels showed how silly calling someone great or the best after 6 games can be. Forte only has more rushing yards and far more receiving yards. Forte can also pass block. He's clearly beem the best RB. |

Peterson has not been the best RB this year and he wasn't the best back last year either. This year I would either say Arian Foster or Matt Forte. Like Hova said there is alot more to being the best RB in the league than just running. |

Something tells me the Bears will be using that in negotiations. Angelo: We see you have more yards than anyone this season and you're in the top 3 in yards since you've been in the NFL but those guys that got the big bucks get in the endzone. Even John Kuhn scores touchdowns. |
