He was a 3rd pick overall.

Wow, this 2005 draft was not good at all...look at who went before A. Rodgers and Roddy White.... :lol:

Keep in mind that former SDSU standout WR and special teams contributor for the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers Brett Swain was kept on the team as a WR over Braylon.

two quick thoughts..

1) wasn't Edwards a Michigan Alum? Harbaugh "busting" on a fellow Wolverine?

2) Just saw a clip on Edwards and how he had donated almost a Million dollars for college to kids that he asked to achieve certain grades and provide certain community services. That part is pretty cool. But, if you cant play the game...you are gone in the NFL. I assume harbaugh is also using this tactic ala Jimmy Johnson to get the attention of his team as the playoffs approach. Maybe.
