He single-handedly won me a fantasy football league a few years back. He was big time for about 5 minutes.

On of the greatest running backs o all time and no one will talk about him in a few years. A lot of wasted years and talent. He did it his way so I know he won't care.

He got to 10,009 yards...If you give him the last six games of his rookie year, the 4 he missed in 2005, and the entire 2006 season, he probably averages 1,000 yards a season.

He once rushed 35 yards against a team consisting of a gaggle of geese and a disgruntled Cuban gardener in the rain one day at a Marriott in Iowa. True story.

I'll never forget when he was drafted. Not only were Philadelphia Eagles' fans booing when they selected QB Donovan McNabb with the #2 overall pick, but I'll never forget the live shot of former New Orleans Saints' head coach Mike Ditka in dreadlocks being interviewed by ESPN's Ed Werder the day he traded everyone but the house janitor to get Ricky. That was long before Ricky said yes when he should've said no...

In 2004 he once punched out a lamp post.
