What is the hold up here? Can't they look at what the top QB contracts look like and pretty much just fill in the blanks? I don't understand why it wouldnt be relatively easy for both sides to make a deal here. Why are the Saints treating Brees like one of the other 51 guys on the roster? The franchise QB is different, considering there's only about 5-7 on the planet.

He has also let the last 3 years of everyone blowing him go to his head. I liked the guy until last year but he has become way to much of an entitled "me" guy.
