Bears had no chance. Couldn't match the bounty money.

Crap. The price of Jackson just went up. They will Sign Williams. Lovie gets what he wants again much to my dismay.

I know they need help with WR, but you make it sound like signing Williams would be a bad move. Emery has a job in the NFL because all he does is scout college talent. Maybe you should give him the benefit of the doubt for just this one draft.

Truth is I'm really torn. He is the best player available and Peppers has worked out well. Williams is young too.

The offense is in bad shape. I don't want to hear Lovie has no talent to work with because he is being given elite defenseive talent that costs and leaves holes all over the rest of the field. You can get away with having an average to below average secondary and we do. I don't want to see Cutler sacked 10 times in a game or season ending injuries. I don't want to watch Hester not run routes and receivers that aren't capable of fighting for or getting the ball. The teams that are winning or competitive year in and year out have offenses. Solid teams have balance. You make this signing and it could work but you still have the same issues and frustrations as last year. I'm sick of it.

You make it sound like the Bears can add only one player. Signing Williams doesn't stop them from talking to Manningham, Garcon, Meachem or making draft picks to address the offense.

Williams is going to cost a lot. The Bears need 2-3 wrs.
