This pretty much locks in Alex Smith back to the 49ers now

That's what I'm Thinking, may just give him an extra million to make up for hard feelings.

He'll be a solid backup for Tebow.

The notion of Tebow in the Bay Area......

Then again, in certain areas it seems so right

Sometimes I think you WANT us to fail.

Matt Moore is better. I don't get this, unless it's to be a backup.

Least exciting starting QB signing ever?

They are a mess. Joey Porter and Ryan Clark just smacked Ireland in the media

Matt Moore did a pretty good job when he replaced Chad Henne down in Miami. I've got to think he's the #1 guy with the Dolphins when they report to Training Camp, while David Garrard didn't play a down last year with back surgery.

As for Dolphins' Owner Stephen Ross, to coin a baseball term, talk about swinging & missing...

Not enough vowels in that name. Looks like a cheap knockoff that was spelled wrong.

Actually, as I recall people were pretty excited about this.

He was the fourth in line Montana, Young, Garcia, Grbac

A lot of Ravens fans were happy to get rid of Dilfer. Thought they'd be even more dominant with an actual offense

I suppose ill-advised might be more appropriate than excited.

Can you blame them, or anyone, for being excited to be rid of Trent Dilfer?

A little bit. They had just won something like 12 games in a row and the Super Bowl.

Look, Keith Bogans wasn't working out so we signed Elvis

I think that's an exact quote from the Col. Tom Parker press release.

Not because of the offense

In those last 11 games they gave up 7 or less points 8 times.

I dont like game managers though
