I'd have to go with Urlacher, even without Bears bias. Urlacher not only gets to the QB, but makes intereceptions and is all over the damn place.....pretty close though.

Urlacher. Man I don't think it's all that close. What was it... '10 that he was hurt in that first week MNF? You see what that defense was like without him.

Seau had a couple good years, but Urlacher's a franchise cornerstone who's virtually never had a bad season, barring the wrist injury year.

Yeah I'd definitely say Urlacher. Seau's longevity in the legue was impressive though.

12 consecutive Pro Bowls would indicate to me Seau had more than a couple good years. Essentially 20
years in the league at that position is pretty incredible.

Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Not saying Seau wasn't good, but Urlacher is better.

Seau, but just barely, and the comparison is tough because while they were both linebackers they played very different styles.

I do appreciate the change in attitudes on Urlacher though, who went from overrated stat-stuffer to consensus hall of famer in a year or two. About damn time.

Hard to say really. Seau doing his custody exchanges at Jack-in-the-Box as opposed to various tollway oases might just give him the edge vs Urlacher.

i dunno who some of those guys are but i would add l.t. patrick willis ..urlacher ..ray lewis..derek thomas..nitschke..lambert..butkus..derek brooks...zach thomas...jack ham..ted hendricks..bill george..james farrior..bobby bell ..sam huff..Nick Buoniconti...willie lenier..lance briggs..rickey jackson..sam mills...demarcus ware..clay matthews...i am sure you dispute some names but there is 25...seau is probably around 18-22 nd all time and dropping every year with new stars emerging...he is no urlacher or ray lewis or lambert or butkus or l.t. who are all time greats.
