Were concussions created in 1984? Football has been around about 6 decades but now all of a sudden concussions cause suicide??? I think it's a combination of concussions and steroid abuse. |

What athletes have used in their bodies the past 30 years or so is quite different. The steroids and HGH used today I don't think were around during most of the Doug Buffone era for example. |

I'm surprised you are this naive. If anything the stuff being used today is way more safe than it was in the 70s. They had no idea what the hell they were doing back, comparatively speaking. |

I don't see how it's so far fetched. So, you said that concussions don't equal suicide, which is obviously true, since not everyone who gets a concussion commits suicide. You then blamed steroids, and linked to a website that said concussions may be associated with increased risk of suicide as evidence. |
