He has to be gone after this season. I think he is a good coach but that team has underachieved two years in a row and play with no indication of a plan.

Andy Reid is an overrated coach.

He can't win without TO.

He is a victim of his own ego (See Mike Martz). He was once a good coach, but now can't stop himself from ridiculous playcalling that makes no sense to anyone.

There are a ton of parallels to the Andy Reid era here in Chicago, with less overall success here though. Hopefully it ends better.

Despite the team dropping its 4th straight game last night in New Orleans, Eagles' HC Andy Reid is remaining as stubborn as a mule. Michael Vick will remain the Eagles' starting QB for the immediate future, but at some point, the Eagles might want to see what they have in backup Nick Foles. I think 1 more loss might force Reid's hand.

Andy Reid, like Norv Turner, should have been fired at least 2 years ago. Reid also made a huge mistake thinking that Mike Vick was a good QB.

I'm not sure Norv Turner will get another chance to coach the underachieving San Diego Chargers if they don't put it together like they've done in recent years in November & December, Scorehead. They should be a lot better.

It doesn't matter who is quarterbacking that team, their offensive line is horrible.

You got that right. Ditto for the Cardinals, too.

What does this say about Donovan McNabb's legacy?

I seriously doubt Vick will remain Eagles' QB all season- I wasn't sure he would survive that first half. As for Reed, like almost every other player or coach, the league moves on and leaves broken bodies in it's wake, men unable to perform at the level they used to call routine.

So its Panthers @Eagles tonite in a dogfood game.

Next Sunday its Cowboys and Eagles. Seriously NBC, flex that piece of shit game out. The Eagles are done and the Cowboys would have to win out to have a chance at the playoffs and that isn't gonna happen. Fuck the entire NFC East.

I would be stunned if that game was flexed. They are the 2 most underachieving, overrated, overhyped teams in sports but the thing they have is name recognition and the so called experts will go on about the rivalry, how much talent the eagles have, how dallas still has a chance to make the playoffs blah blah blah

Reid is done after the season as are Turner and Rex.

Game would have been flexed by now. You have to give 12 days notice of time change, except Week 17.

Terribly stupid move by the NFL and/or NBC to not flex that game.

Garrett will also be canned at seasons end...this is another awful game tonight that should have been swapped...Reid is an ok coach who will ever win shit, like Lovie and Fischer.

Frank, the NFL & NBC Sports aren't flexing out of the games December 9th & 16th either. Then again, who wouldn't want to see the Lions get their clocks cleaned by the Packers in Green Bay December 9th as well as the 49ers/Patriots' game in Foxborough, MA December 16th on NBC?

I think it's not just the NFL & NBC that aren't interested in flexing out of those games. CBS & FOX also have a huge say in such scheduling.

Well the one good thing about not moving those game is that the Bears get to play Sunday at Noon each week 8) 8)

(though it would not surprise me if Packers @Bears is moved to 3:15)

Of the four NFC Media Handjob Division teams, the Eagles have to annoy me the most. I'll allow the Cowboys and Giants to get their treatment, and to a limited extent, the Redskins, because they really do feel like cornerstone franchises to me, but the sturm und drang that's whipped up around the Eagles every single year is just such a fucking drain. omg, could this be the year Donovan McNabb is forced out? how about Andy Reid? okay how about next year? or the year after that? Jim Johnson's Exotic Blitzes! they booed Santa Claus! Dooooooooooon't caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare

all the eagles fans i know hate the attention their team gets by the media because it's so overblown. luckily my team's fans are only in the spotlight when ESPN wants to jizz all over mardi gras and hurricanes. and then i get to listen how much chicago fans don't care about new orleans.

luckily nobody gives a fuck about you either! :bom:

On ESPN, Reid names Foles starting QB for rest of the season.

Good. I pretty much like what I see of him, I think. Same for Bryce Brown. They need to fix their O' Line just as much as the Bears. And their defense is a mess....bad!

I'd personally love to see Gruden go to the Eagles as their next coach, but it sounds like Jon is comfortable where he's at.

Look for Andy Reid to possibly go to San Diego as their next coach.
