Anyone else out there watching?

Lions playing pretty well so far, but I hope the Texans smash them

Did you see Suh give Schaub the roundhouse kick to the nuts earlier. The Suh kick is becoming Thanksgiving tradition.

Suh is an idiot and should be suspended for the rest of the year

If that was determined to be done with intent then they almost have to bang him for 4 games. It didn't look innocent but that one will be harder to prove intent with than last years.

Man it seems like Hanson has been kicking forever. A buddy of mine played with him back at Wash State and says he is a real good dude.

If it was anyone else I think you could make a case for innocence, but with it being Suh and all he has done in the past, he is guilty.

He's an asshat - but tell me again how that play is NOT reviewable???

Because the whistle didn't blow? That makes no sense. He should be down where his elbow hit. And his knee. And his hip.

Bad. Really bad.

If he didn't throw the flag it would have been reviewed so it is ALL on him.

So if the coach had not thrown the flag, the play would have been automatically reviewed? But since he did it isn't???

Bad.

Why does throwing a flag when it's not allowed make it non-reviewable by the booth? Asshat or not, that's a stupid rule.

No. It's not. Every ref on the field blew the call. Then didn't blow their whistle.
He knew they blew it and threw the flag.

Correct me if I'm wrong: have we not heard all year long that "Every scoring play is reviewed automatically"? Cause that one wasn't reviewed.....

exactly. which tells me that is direct hard evidence that there is another conspiracy going on. the refs on the field are clearly in lock step with the guys up stairs, because any one of them could have stopped the bad call by just enforcing procedure properly but they chose not to.

Couple other things:

1. Did the ref explain that as the reason for it not being reviewable? I didn't hear what he said - I only heard what Simms said after the break., but the way Simms acted like he was "breaking news" tells me the ref did not say that.

2. Maybe somebody else can correct me - but isn't this the same ref from the infamous "tuck rule" game? My memory says it is but I"m not 100% sure.

edit: and maybe some people can slow down on the JJ Watt slurping a little?

Gunther Cunningham punting his playbook was way better.

Good ole Gunther. I lived in the KC area during his tenure as head coach in KC. He is a piece of work. Some of his press conferences were hilarious. Terrible head coach, but a funny dude.

Phil Simms saw the slo-mo replay of Watt going helmet to helmet on Stafford, and said it was a legal hit. CBS can't find somebody better than this?

After that last run, Foster's pinkie finger was sticking straight sideways.

Casually casually just walked up to the trainer to get it straightened out. :?

I have never understood why teams settle for such long FG trys in overtime. Get the ball closer. Stop playing so conservative. Now you give the Lions real good field position

Stafford is a bum. He throws a lot because the rest of the team sucks.

it will be ruled "call on the field stands, the receiver never lost control of the ball and the ball never touched the ground. dont worry about the green stains on the ball theyre not there"
