Third straight Steelers' game for Jim Nantz & Mac's buddy (NOT!) Phil Simms. Because of Packers/Bears on the "NFL on FOX", we won't be getting 2 on the "NFL on CBS" this Sunday. CBS has the doubleheader this weekend, but we'll get Steelers/Cowboys @ 3:25P Sunday. For the record, this will be Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver's first and likely only Bears' game of the season on the "NFL on FOX". Needless to say, we won't be getting FOX's #1 NFL crew next Sunday for the Cardinals' game in Glendale, AZ. |

Lots of interesting games tomorrow. The 12:00 slate is packed. Probably won't give the Bears much attention. NYG/ATL, Den/Balt, and Hou/IND will probably get the big screens. Really hope we don't get mentions about the shooting. Keep it to the news programs. Watching UFC tonight, and they have Rogan doing a taped message, and you can see it's forced. |

Flacco and Eli have been just awful today. Sure Eli has 2 rings, but he is still a very shakey QB. |

Someone better remind the Seahawks that "college" "gimmicks" don't work in the NFL, because they are lighting up defenses running what is basically a college offense. |

http://www.the506.com/temp11.html This is a fine tool for those out of the chicagoland viewing area. It has a map of every market in the country and lists the announce teams. |

Phil Simms in the last 5 minutes: "its easier to run forward" "There is a breeze in this stadium," Dallas plays in a dome. |

Yeah, and calling fake punts up 30 is going to get somebody hurt. I like the Seahawks and lot of their players, especially Wilson. People get pissed and will hurt people for pulling bullshit like that. |
