Watching Indy v. Bal

Luck hasn't thrown the ball particularly well. Does he always throw those dead goose loking balls? Dang.
I do have Indy + 6.5 today. Looking like a close defensive game so far. It's playing pretty much the way I thought so far after one quarter.

I haven't been real impressed with Luck. He's played ok for a rookie, but nowhere near the level of Griffin or Wilson.

Check the attitude, Darkside.

That kind of talk isn't needed in this thread.

Maybe you need a better attitude.

You aren't doing yourself any favors.

What are you talking about? Is something wrong with you? I asked a simple question and you came at me like a total ass. Then you act like I'm starting shit. Dude fuck off. I'm done with this conversation.

Thank you FavreFan for your answer. It was much more thoughtful and solid than the crap the other bozo just spewed looking for a few points scored.

If anyone else had anything positive to contribute I would love to hear it.
Thanks!

Your poor attitude and attack-dog posting style have taken this thread to a dark and foreboding place.

All I wanted to do was talk about the Sunday's Playoff games, I saw this thread and thought it would be a great place to do so....it looks like I was wrong.

Baltimore draws first blood and then stops a drive right in its tracks. :? I was hoping for a little better arial attack from Indy here. So far their defense (Indy) is holding. I'm glad I got that two field goal head start.

Did you give your password to Panther or something? That's exactly the type of crap he'd say. Almost word for word.
Who are you fooling. Your first post was an insult at me instead of contributing a thoughtful response. And if "ok jerk" is an "attack-dog" thing to you then maybe you should think a little bit more before hitting submit.

I'm not sure how many more years Baltimore can keep bringing Flacco back. He's just not very good and isnt significantly better than he was 2-3 years ago. This Colts defense isn't very good at all and Flacco has had plenty of time to throw today on most drop backs.

QB'ing in the NFL is very top heavy. There's really only a handful of good QB's in a league that is supposedly trending toward a passing game. If it weren't for the newer pass friendly rules this kind of team would look much different.

Ray Lewis is killing it out there, fellas!

Hopefully Andrew Luck has a rabbits foot in his pocket!

Well he dropped what should be an interception there. I was kinda like :? over that.
Both QB's are looking pretty bad so far.

Good point. It presents a difficult scenario for a lot of teams. I'm sure the Bengals don't want to go back to their 3-13 days, but I don't think a guy like Dalton will ever make them elite. He's just good enough to make a case for keeping around, and bad enough that he will always leave them wanting a better QB at the end of every season. I think that describes almost a third of the starting QBs. Guys like Dalton, Flacco, Schaub, Cutler, etc.

Be careful. There's a whole band of Luck ALS'ers that can't wait to throw the Colts record at you if you suggest Luck is anything except a brilliant QB.

if the Bears were smart they'd be looking for their next QB this offseason. The way the Pack did it. They got a couple starter quality QB's while Favre was still good. Bring in the next guy, develop him while Cutty still plays ok and move along. I'm not hoping for a long term extension.

Brilliant? Good lord that's way overstating it. He's servicable, doesn't do anything stupid, which, I suppose, makes him better than roughly half the QBs in the league.

A lot of bad football so far in these playoffs. The only team that IMO looks like it is capable of getting to the Superbowl is the Packers.

Hopefully the Redskins and Seahawks is a better game.

I'm really looking forward to that game and will be highly disappointed if it turns out to be a dud.

I can't imagine you're feeling great about that 6.5 right now Darko. This feels like one of those weakass games that ends 20-6 or 20-10. Let's see it the Colts still have some of that 2nd half magic left or if they used it all up in the regular season.

Good luck with the Bears ever developing a QB :( Unless they get the guy from the CFL that is!
